Ok, I'm willing to test out a point deal with NO crts included in it. Can someone help me come up with a cheap enough deal. Either with the Garnier deal or the Playtex deal.

Now normally I use some form of crt with each order BUT I'm willing to not use one to see if that matters.

What coupons do you have? I did a transaction today with Garnier and Got2b that was cheap but i did use a crt and my points did not print. Originally when I did my cleaning products deal two weeks ago or so for points i did not use a crt. So I would be curious to see if it works for you. Do you have got2b coupons and garnier?

I have several different Garnier coupons. I can't find my Got2B coupons

The last time I did a points deal with no coupons at all (Hanes) the points deal printed on my receipt to alert me I got them. They also reflected in my points total. BUT I didn't get a seperate crt or anything.

What can I do with the Garnier deal?

I think I'm going to take this one step further. I'm going to do the Garnier deal with NO coupons at all and see what I get. Then I will return it. Then I will do it again with just coupons and NO crt. We have to get to the bottom of this.

I would spend a ton more $$$/and coupons IF I can do the points deals at least with manufacturers coupons.

For the transaction if you find your Got2b and you use all coupons mine looked like this:
4 Got2be hairspray @5.29 each
4 Garnier hairspray 2 @3.79 2 @1.89
4 Garnier Curl Spray gel 2@3.79 2@1.89

then i had 4 got2b coupons for $3 off
4 Garnier $1 off style product that doubled
4 Garnier curl spray product $1 off one that doubled (these are on coupons.com along with garnier shampoo coupons too)
1 Kmart coupon for $1 off garnier product (this was a tearpad right by the garnier products)
total =$43.88 minus $10.58 from got2b b1g1free minus $26 in coupons
I added in the meal deal buy 5 bar-s hotdogs get the van camps and 2liter pop free to push me over the $50 amount and to get the $5 gift card. The deal wasn't bad but I wanted the 5,000 points to print since I knew I was over the $20 garnier amount.

Gosh I wish I could find my Got2B coupons. I have been looking ALL day on and off for them. I just don't know where I put them. So I'm going to have to stick to just the Garnier. Also I don't want to use ANY Kmart coupons at all. Even any Super coupons. I also ONLY want to go to $20 for this test no further. This is just a test. Not a normal order.

For the test transaction just do the garnier hairspray and curl product it will bring you to $22.72. You could even just do 7 and it would lower you $1.89 less.
For the order with coupons but no kmart ones you could still do 8 garnier @22.72 with manufactor coupons (-$13) you will want to buy something to put you over the $25 double couponing rule though.

Wait, I just thought of something..........what is the exact verbiage in the ad for this deal? I saw on another board that the total needed to be X prior to coupons if the ad is written one way, but if the wording was written a different way the total had to be X before using coupons. I will go back & see if I can find the information.

okay, from what I read you have to spend $20 on the Garnier AFTER coupons due to the way the offer is worded. Too much money for me so I won't be trying it. Especially if the $10 crt will be deducting from the total, which I am assuming it does.

Ok, So it would be

$22.72
minus $13 for the coupons (with doubles)

So a final total of $9.72
Then I would get $5 from the $5,000 points.
So final total would be $4.72 for the Garnier or 59c each.

I guess ok. I'm just SOOO used to using crts on almost every order. I think I could live with 59c for the Garnier.

BUT if it was NO doubles it definatly wouldn't be worth it.

This sucks. I want to do points deals but most times the OOP is going to be TO darn high.

And this is even IF I can get the points with coupons but not crts/kmart coupons.

Oh NO problem. I was THRILLED last week when I found out from a kind soul on here (sorry I can't remember who it was) that the Pringles were counting towards the $30 for the P&G deal. I was thinking they wouldn't work since neither the flyer or the P&G tearpad coupon had Pringles on the list. So I wouldn't have even tried it. Glad she did and reported it to us. It helped me on a couple transactions.

BUT now I'm getting info from CCB2004 that she bought the Playtex today with coupons and NO points. BUT I'm waiting to see if she used any Kmart crts or super coupons.

Crap, Crap, Crap. BUT you can never believe everything you read in Kmarts promos. Because the $3/15 Kmart coupon says not good on B1G1F events but people reported it working last week on the Olay deal.

Last month I did the John Frieda deal buy $20 get $5 coupon and 3000 points. I was using $2 JF coupons so added some items to double coupons. I only got the $5 coupon no points. Then I read on another site someone said they thought doubling the coupons was keeping you from getting the points since that would be a Kmart discount. So I did the deal again buying $20 using 4 $2 coupons paid $12 and got the $5 coupon and $5000 points. I did 6 transactions and I got the coupon and points every time. So double coupons might be the reason for not getting the points.

Oh ok I can understand this. The just count the double part as a Kmart savings.

You have SOLVED a mystery BUT now I'm bummed out because I wouldn't want to pay $5 more for those Garnier.

Crap now we NEED to find a senerio where it's worth it to do a point deal with absolutley NO Kmart discounts involved.

Can we do it???

Oh I have a question for you I hope you would know. If your doing a point deal and something is B1G150% off does the full amount count for the total or do you have to minus out the 50% off from it.

I think they all say that. I did receive points when my total went below $20 after coupons. I did try to use a crt which had to be pushed through.

I thought I would get the 3000 pts but actually I did get 5000 pts and I have no ideal about the BOGO.

What is still SO confusing is when I did the cleaning deal two weeks ago I used coupons and they doubled and I still got the points from each one???? What is the difference between that deal and the garnier where I used coupons and they doubled and no points???

Once I know if someone knows if I have to minus off the 50% on the Garnier I might try that deal too. That is IF it's not TO high.

I checked online to see what my current points balance is. Then once I do the order I will check it again.

I'm doing the Schick Razor if I can work out the #s to being at least a decent deal.

Sorry Tracy but nobody was even talking about doing the JF deal and as you can see I don't post alot, but I just couldn't let you test the pts for everyone and not say something about the double coupons.
