I was playing around the Kmart website and realized that if you are one of the lucky ones that your store shows in this site http://www.mygofer.com/food-grocery/v-26927?adCell=WH# then you can preorder your items form them to be ready when you get there! You don't have to prepay, which means you get to know your exact order and quanity available before you get there to pay with your coupons! Now that is cool, to bad my local one doesn't have this or it would be on! Who doesn't like the idea of having your products already picked and guaranteed to be there when they get there!!! I'm jealous!

I have looked into this as well, it seems to be a real time saver and possibly a way to get things saved before the start of a sale

When I looked earlier, the only options were today or anytime. So if you select anytime, does it ask what date you want it?

I am not really sure, I played with it and found it to be very interesting. It allowed me to view the exact stock amount available at the particular store I was viewing. I did select the carnation milk said I wanted a 100 to test it. A message popped up and said the store only had 27 in stock and asked me If I would like to order that amount or order some to be shipped in for me. I stopped at that point, because the only store in my area doing this is a little over an hour drive for me. If it would have had my store, I would have tested it. Sorry, maybe someone else can. I debated doing it and making the drive to test it, but the area that store is in is gangland! My hubby will not let me go there without him and he insist on having his handgun at all times and yes he has a permit to carry. Several ladies have been killed in that area just for being in the wrong place Who knew South GA would have such areas!

Good news...I went all the way to place an order, and there IS an option to pay in-store...This is pretty awesome, if they don't give any trouble. I might try this in a few days. Message below (I only put Bar-s in my cart):

I had the opposite experience... the site said my store was out of domino confectioner sugar. I got there and the shelves were fully stocked. Nothing surprises me with Kmart.

Where does it tell you how many items are in stock? I'm not seeing it.

Today I went to get some $1 Nesquik with doubles. Asked a nice worker if they had anymore, she used the handheld scanner to see how many they had...and then when I asked when they would get more in she asked if I wanted to ORDER them. I thought that kmart couldn't do this. She took my name and number and the upc and was willing to put in a double order (they only get 24 at a time) to make sure I would get enough.

She said that they might be there Wednesday, and if not, they would be there Friday. We will see if it works out for me...I am sooo hopeful, since my Wags won't order for me. If it works out I may just have the nicest Kmart around (even though they don't always know what they are doing...they always fix my orders at customer service). I am willing to spend more time there if I can get the deals.

I just placed two orders right now. I saw that the shelves were empty of water that I went to pick up today, I couldn't find the Reynold's Baking Cups, and I forgot my pepsi coupons at home (horrible waste of a trip to Kmart for me today)... So I just placed my order online to pick up tomorrow. I am guessing maybe they had water in the back and just hadn't stocked the shelves? I hope anyway... because it ends up being $0.10 a bottle, and that is an awesome deal!

If it let you place an order for pick up in the morning then you are correct...they have them in the back. Would like to ad yes I am still jealous Bahahaha! On the same note I still think this thing is awesome!

It will tell you when you put in the quantity you want to order If they don't have enough a pop up will tell you the quantity they have available. If they do have enough then it will proceed with your order.

Agreed! We'll see how it goes tomorrow. I am thinking it will be fantastic if it all goes well without a hitch. Though they may hate me a little because I did order 4 cases (35 ct) of water, and 4 cases (24 pk) of pepsi. LOL!
