I went today to use the rest of my coupons and the Jackson michigan Kmart totally changed the deal. It is one per household and you have to mail in your register reciept.

It hadn't happened at the East end Kmart at 2 p. m. I hope not since I still have 4 coupons to use.

I laughed at the manager today and then called customer service.The girl at corporate told me one thing and then called the manger at kmart while I was on hold,then she told me something different.She told me it had to be mailed in.I laughed at her and said since when am I the "DEALER" and asked her if they were going to send P&G a bunch of 10.00 kmart gift cards to send out to the people that actually were naieve enough to believe all of this.

Oh well...I still ended up with 170 dollars worth of free stuff and have a 10.00 gift card.I jusy wanted some more old spice body wash.

-- I'd be calling P&G and asking about where to mail it in....

oh.. btw... the word on the webvine is "CALL DURACELL" They are taking the complaints about how Kmart is handling this promo... and they are taking the complaints seriously.

thanks,I think I will call duracell monday just because I feel like it.I don't even understand,it says right on the coupon where kmart needs to mail it in.So therefore it isn't even kmarts hit on the money.I would think kmart should be happy that they had a lot of sales this week on products that noone would have even bought in their stores without this promo.
Our kmart here is so rundown that during the day they have half of their lights off,half of the products don't even have prices on them, and it is the most unorganized store I have ever been in,I've seen tire shops that are more cleaner.

I went back to Kmart for 2 more deals. I didn't really want to because I knew I would be in line until next week and might catch something in that hot dirty store. But I wanted to help rid them of their battery overstock. So this is what I ended up with:

Total out of pocket for my three transactions: $38.94 (would have been $85.03 with no coupons and purchase of the two gift cards)

I have a few more coupons I am itching to use--maybe I can invent a reason to go back to Kmart but it won't be in the heat of the day.

ETA: I also have two 3 free Music Downloads when you purchase Hanes products and a $5.00 off 19.99 footwear purchase coupon I found in the parking lot.

I alerted my friend to this deal last week - and she finally went to go do it last night - she just emailed me with this:

"Finally made it to Kmart last night and found out they revoked the instant gift card deal on the batteries and P&G stuff. Now you have to mail in for the gift card and only one per household. I should have gotten there sooner before they realized their error! "

Anyone have confirmation?

It is so in Pa.. was in Mt. Pleasant today, and the lady was really crappy at the check out, especially when I asked if they were doing the deal, she said "yea, but you have to send in for the gift card"... Then she threw this paper at me explaining the whole thing. That place is such a dive... why don't they clean it up alittle??? I know now why I dont shop Kmart!

I have been doing the deal at my Kmart every day (I live next door) with no problems.

I think if they did revoke/change the promotion why arent all the stores doing it. My local store has no restrictions, the one 1/2 hr away just has signs up for 1 per household.

I tried it for the first time today. I was told that they dont accept ANY OTHER coupons with the gift card deal. If she scans the other coupons first, it wont do the gift card. I think I will try a teenage cashier next time.

I dont understand it either. Where i live there are a few stores and one of them does one per transaction, one does one per household and another one does the mail-in crap. I have been hitting the 2 that dont do the mail in thing everyday.
