I bought the seven boxes of cereal and it only printed the advertisement catalina, and one free milk. I had been warned by others in the area that it wasn't working quite right. I eventually got all that I should have but it seems there was some sort of glitch/discrepancy between Jewel and Marketta(?) (they kept referring to the electronic coupon people working with Catalina on this promo) The CS people (all FOUR!!!) were super nice and figured it out so I'd get my free milk, then thanked me repeatedly for my patience (like I'm gonna make a scene when I'm getting something FREE, but I suppose it happens). Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem....maybe since today is the first 'double-dip' day?

I just came back and bought 7 boxes and got all 3 cats!!!

I read on CW that it only prints one at the self checkout. Marketta is the marketing person at Jewel Corporate. Maybe they mean the catalina company? Sorry this happened but glad they worked it out for you! |

oh, OK, so I did use the self-checkout (as did the other person I talked to who had the same problem)....maybe THAT is the problem. Good to know since I'm taking a friend on my next trip to help her get the same deal...we'll do the regular checkout! Glad you didn't have a problem!

Uscans can't add. This isn't a new problem. It will work fine through the register and Catalina doesn't care and won't fix it (talked to them over a year about similar issues). they won't even send catalinas in the mail to replace catalinas missed through the uscan. This happened with another item a couple months ago...when the promo is tiered it spits out as soon as the bottom tier is reached and considers it done. |

This CAN be easily fixed...they can ring 5 boxes at a regular register and get your cats and cancel the items (they don't have to cash this one out). This is the easiest way for them to get you the other 2 cats. Easier still is to go through the regular lines (I HATE the regular lines)...but then I don't need it fixed. |

I did the deal through self checkout...bought 10 kelloggs items, 7 of which were boxes of cereal. I didn't get any of the milk catalinas. I went to cs and they credited my credit card for the full value of three milks...$13.77! Not a bad return for $15 spent.
