I would suspect many other site(s). Clearance isn't exactly a secret,  . :-)There are WAY WAY more of us than most people realize. I know my stores have at least 6-10 couponers from the internet shopping there.  |

hi I'm in Des Plaines. I don't do too much grocery shopping at Jewel. The prices on average are way out of line. However, I check in every so often to see if Osco has a clearance cart out. Their clearance carts have fantastic deals usually lots of .25 and .50 hair cair and cosmetic products.

I shop food 4 less often--right across the street from jewel--then another on the way to my boys high school---they do NOT double they have GREAT loss leaders though--skippy is only 1.25 this week!

I shop in Shorewood. They still accept expireds and IPs...making my life a whole lot easier. There have also been some great Catalina deals there lately!

Hi all. I'm in Schaumburg and mostly shop at the West Schaumburg and Streamwood stores. Both take IPs but West Schaumburg does not take expireds anymore and haven't for a while. Streamwood still seems to be accepting expireds but maybe I've just gotten nice cashiers.

I shop at the West Dundee Jewel - I'm new to jewel and I can't believe all the great Catalina deals we had in the past 3 weeks. I can see by reading this forum that alot of ladies are real Pro's here so I'm glad to get in the action.  |

Hi! West Elgin here! I used to shop at Jewel exclusively, until I got serious about both eating healthier (Trader Joe's in Algonquin) and saving money (Meijers in Elgin on Randall). Now I shop at all three! I didn't realize how bad a lot of prices are at Jewel until I started at Meijers, even Trader Joes is cheaper for many things.

Bloomington, IL here. I have never really shopped at Jewel but as I posted in another thread, I just signed up for their Preferred Card because it does look like you can get a few good deals there! So, I'm trying to learn what I can about their policies.

Hello Blue Angel! We live in Chicago in the old Irving Park Neighborhood. We do our primary shopping at two stores Jewel and Aldi. We find the greatest value at Aldi and believe their store brands hold up to the national brands. There are many things that we buy that they just do not have at Aldi. This is the reason we shop at Jewel also. Jewel as of May 1St stopped taking expired coupons this makes couponing extremely difficult.
