Has anyone used the older brown/blue rain checks recently? These don't have an expiration restriction like the new orangey looking ones so I personally think they should still take them. Opinions and experiences are very much appreciated.

ETA: I just got a call from my store's director who confirmed with corporate that we can use past rainchecks as long as they are actuals. I was also told that I can use Dominick's cats and Wags RRs as long as they state manufacturer's coupons. Lastly (and unfortunately), I was informed that my store will no longer accept expireds!!! I can't decide if I won or lost.
