I see that this weeks Jewel/Osco Has Loreal Vive Bogo... I was lucky enough to get 5 BOGO coupons. Do they honor them??? Would they be free... I know Walgreens will... so will CVS. Anyone know or have tried this with Jewel before??

Sorry, I haven't tried that. I think with my Jewel they were on sale for $3 or something like that so I won't get the same deal. My thinking is that with a larger order they wouldn't mind but if you only got the Vive or just a few things it might draw too much attention and they'd question it. I don't know the actual policy though.

I called corporate to ask how the B1G1 free coupons were handled. Was on the phone for close to 20 min while the rep called my local store. Was told that I would pay for one and then get 3 free.... thought that was strange... so I went there... was planning on paying for 2 and was happy at that thought, pay for 2 get 6 free isnt bad right??? When I got there the Asst. Manager had arrived, she said no... that with my coupon I got both free! I only needed to pay for the tax. Well I have several coupons I told her... I actually had 8! She told me just do a separate transaction for each coupon. I was so excited I gave her 2 coupons for being so very helpful! I ended up paying 2.10 for 6 shampoos, and 6 conditioners. I was so very pleased with their customer service, everyone treated me so nicely, no one was upset I had 6 transactions, just smiled and said what a great deal I got. I called corporate back to let them know that I was extremely happy with the store and their employees... and please forward the message back to the store.

That's great to hear. I think I only have 2 coupons left but will go there and use them. I had been giving them away in my RAOK's because I have so many shampoo/ conditioners already but it's hard to resist when they're still free.

I called the 877.932.7948 number and they (because the first person I talked with disconnected me so I had to call back) said you can't use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale. When I held you as an example, saying another rep had said you were suppose to buy one then get three free, he still said no. Both times, he had checked with his supervisor (so he said). I said it was unfair because their policy was inconsistent and he said it could be because you had spoken to another call center. So then, I said, "Well, what do you want me to do? Keep calling until I get the call center that says 'yes'?" He starts backtracking and says "I didn't say that." and I was like "Yeah, you kind of did."

So to Matt from Jewel-Osco's Northwest Call Center, if you're reading this, I wasn't lying and neither is cookinmama who got her 12 free L'Oreals from your store. No one will be getting a call complementing anything at Jewel from me.

Last week I used BOGO on the Glade air fresheners at Jewel. I had about 6 coupons and was easily able to use them all. However, I paid for 6 and got 6 free. I don't understand how you could pay for 1 and get 3 free!
