There are days like this when I'm loving my grocer, Jewel. They take all expired coupons and never limit the amount of frees you can use on one product. I went today with a good amount of coupons in hand. I filled my cart to the gills ... $92 bucks worth and after all of my coupons, I got it down to $52 and some odd change! The only overage I got came to around 40 cents other than that, all coupons (expireds, of course). This really made my day!!!!!

I was born and raised in Chicago but I now live in CA. Jewel was my favorite grocery store. They were awesome about coupons and yes, they took expired ones!!!!! I miss Jewel! I had a rotten time at Safeway yesterday and so I really wish we had Jewel stores here...

I can't imagine not having a Jewel. Even though I think they are crazy over priced (I only buy on sale), when you have coupons, it really makes a difference. My day started rather crappy ... left my wallet at the vet's office so I thought my day would follow that tone but heck, my shopping trip has me grinning ear to ear :0))))))

Chicago suburbs here, too. I am a diehard Jewel shopper. My coupon file is bursting at the seams because I don't throw away expireds - they just take them no questions asked. (used one from 2005 yesterday!)

Here too ... I have so many it's just insane but you never know when you'll use one!! 2005 huh? I used one from 1999 a few weeks ago. No bad looks or anything ... always makes my shopping trip pleasant !!
