I got a few $1/2 Everyday Essentials canned goods cats that spit out for me during the coupon madness, and the beans are $0.50 right now (I think only for a few more days), so I'm going back to get a few more free cans - they include black beans and garbanzo beans, my faves!

I also got a few $1.50 off an EE frozen item and $1 off EE crackers/cookies - so I'm going to check prices. Anyone else get these? Ideas?

Here is a weird one:

Buy 2 Carlita salsas, use BOGO store coupon http://e.jewelosco.com/a/hBPoej6B8Vz...AAaAEBXF/salsa and get 50% back on SavingStar.

Will it work? Seems like it should, but I am not sure if you will get 50% back pre- or post-coupon since it is a store coupon. Worst case it takes 50% off the price of one and you get two for about $1.70....

Went in this morning for a few things:

-Perdue chicken drumsticks were BOGO so I got 2 packs (2.70 lbs) for $3.52...usually I don't do their meat BOGO's but this one seemed reasonable.
-another round of 4 pringles. Used a $1 OYNO I got during the doubles and used $1 MQ so paid $1/can and then received another $1 OYNO
-4 cans of EE beans (2 kidney, 2 black) at .50/can. Used 2 of the $1/2 cats I had so they should have been free. Perhaps there are restrictions on the Q (1 per transaction or something) because now looking at the receipt I realize it only took off .50 instead of $2. So just be watching when those Q's scan if you are going to do that deal.
-2 boxes Ortega taco shells. 2 for $3 using a $1/2 IP made them $1 a box. I know some people were getting these during doubles, but my stores all had them at regular price so I just waited.

and just for fun, I grabbed a quarter watermelon. It was $2.xx but I picked one up for a picnic last week and it was the BEST watermelon I have had in a long time so I just had to get another!

Those EE store cats didn't scan for me either on the beans so they entered them manually, so definitely watch out!

$1 off EE Crackers/Cookies cat:
There are many EE varieties of both cookies and crackers on sale for $2 through May 20ish, so that would make for $1 items

$1.50 off EE Frozen cat:
The EE frozen pizza is currently BOGO until tomorrow at $5something, if you had two cats it probably come out to around $1.50ish per pizza
The EE frozen cool whip is everyday priced at $1.69, so $0.19 cool whip!

The cats don't expire for a few more weeks so I'm going to hold out for a sale and keep checking

I just got my Savingstar credit (25% on 4 Essential Everyday items) for the 4 cans of EE beans I bought (and used 2 store cats for $1/2 EE canned goods to pay) and it gave me 25% of the shelf price, my store Qs didn't seem to affect it. Hope it works the same way for you!

I had a fantastic Jewel trip today, even without doubles!

Here's what I planned and got:

20 cans Red Gold tomatoes, $10; used 10 $1/2 blinkies (thanks 1AK !) = FREE
2 cans EE black beans, $1; used $1/2 cat (I only had 1) = FREE
EE taco seasoning, .99; used .75/1 cat = .24
EE vanilla wafers, $2; used $1/1 cat = $1
2 Carlita salsa, $4; used BOGO store printable = $2
4 Pasta Prima, $8.58; used 2 FREEs DH and I won on FB = FREE
6 Speed Stick, $8.97; used 3 BOGO = FREE

and the fun clearance I found:

4 24-ct bags balloons, .96
super cool flipping measuring spoon, .99
2-pack little girl Goody headbands, .24
20 oz Goose Island Pere Jack Belgian-style ale, $2.24

It should have been $9.42, but somehow an extra $1 coupon came off, so it was $8.42. I paid with $6.50 in RR that I just got at Wags and $1.92 (all but .19 was tax).

I should get somewhere between about $1.50 and $5 from SavingStar for the EE stuff and the salsa (which I actually paid a total of $3.24 for), so that will reduce my net even more. I'll definitely share how that works out so we can all plan better in the future .
