Hi, I've been couponing for about 2 yrs now but I'm still pretty new at this. I saw my first extreme couponers at target the other day with their binders I don't know ANYONE that coupons so it would be awesome to find some fellow couponers to shop with and share deals with. Mason City peep here! I'll PM you. I've only seen two other people with binders in Mason since I started heavily into it in April. One was at Wags and one at Target. It was refreshing to see that one of them was a guy.

Wow really a guy! That's cool! Lol the other day in hyvee I had a lady behind me saying "omg she's a couponer!" Other lady "no she's not" first lady "yes she is look at her binder she's like off that show!" Haha I just had to giggle! They thought I couldn't hear them! I swear sometimes its like I'm looked at like I have two heads when couponing around here ! I can't imagine what the guy would go through!!

This cracked me up!! Same thing happens here to, "OMG you are one of those ladies like on the show." then they start looking at the freebies in my cart tell me I gotta teach them how. LOL, I can say I have not seen any males in my area yet, but im sure they are around here somewhere.
Maybe they dont carry a big binder and carry their coupons in their wallet

The only doubles that I know of is Kmart's.

I know this post is kinda old but I just got back into couponing a couple of months ago. I too shop in Mason City. Target, Walgreens, HyVee, and Walmart.

I am super excited to see there are others here too! I coupon like crazy here in MC. I took a few months off and have started back up again this month. I am always on the lookout for other binders! I am always tickled when I see a person with one...which is very seldom.

OK, so about a month ago I was looking at garage sale listings and there was one on craigslist in one of the nicest neighborhoods in MC and it said it was an extreme couponer selling stuff in her stockpile to make more room. I was royally bothered by this since Ik there is someone in MC that is a shelf clearer of any and all good free or cheap deals. I really hope this isn't the person. If this person is on here please only take what you need and will use! Also it says on all coupons that it is illegal to coupon to resell the products to make money. It is fraud. OK sorry my rant is over. Just a single mom trying to make ends meet by using coupons.

I personally dont think there is anything wrong with selling things, it is your property once you have purchased it and the money can be used to help with things you dont have coupons for but that still cost money. I also dont believe in clearing the shelves.

also as far as double coupons my mom lives in mason and there is a store in Northwood that doubles a couple days a week up to .60 coupons. I just called them to make sure and they are still doing it Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday limit of 4 like coupons the name of store is Fallgatter's Market 98 7th St. N., Northwood, IA 50459. I live in Waterloo area so I have not tried to do it, not sure if it would be worth the gas money but let me know if you score any great deals!

Still plenty of the oral care $5 gift card deal at mason city's target. I went yesterday and it went perfectly its an awesome deal 2-3 packs of toothpaste left and they are $5.99 and when u buy one u get a $5 gift card just make sure and have the ad in hand at checkout! and they even did seperate transactions for me so I rolled the giftcards!
