I hope this is in the right place? But, should Ingles double printable coupons? I ask because my local Ingles always has, but I have been reading in various places that they do not? Is this something that varies from store to store or have I just lucked out?! It would break my heart if they stopped

Mine does. However, they only allow 2 printables per trip. Which stinks.

The register doubles all of my 50 cent coupons automatically so why not the printable ones? As for only allowing 2 printables per trip - that sounds like a load of crap! I would complain to management and/or corporate! A coupon is a coupon is a coupon!!

Out of curiosity I emailed corporate about this question and this is the reply I received:

"You must have the Ingles Advantage card to double coupons. Coupons of .50 or less will be doubled/tripled, except on tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, coffee, free items, or Ingles coupons. Double value cannot exceed the price of the item. Only one coupon per item will be accepted. Double savings start with each $10 purchase. No more than two(2) identical items are eligible for double coupon savings."

...so perhaps it's the no more than 2 identical items doubling that causes the confusion? But I do confess that in the past I have doubled more than 2 myself, of course that was before receiving this info, so I guess a lot has to do w/ cashiers and their knowledge of the policies.
