I shop at Ingles frequently as it is the closest grocery to my home, but tonight I stopped at there to pick up All laundry detergent and I had printed a $1/1 coupon which I found on the AFC coupon database and was treated VERY rudely!! The cashier stated "I don't think we accept those internet coupons but I'll check with my manager." She checked with her manager & came back stating "No we don't take internet coupons- they could be BOGUS!". I had to have the detergent tonight so I went on & purchased it without the coupon. I would have gone to speak with the mgr. but my entire family was waiting for me in the car! According to what I have read in our forum here, this doesn't appear to be Ingles's coupon policy. Help! I need advice on what to do now.... or do I just take my printables elsewhere?

My Ingles has their coupon policy printed in very small print at the front door. I cannot remember the details exactly, but they do not take IPs for FREE items, and they only take so many IPs total, just like they only double so many per $10 purchase.
I, too, had another bad experience there Saturday because of an IP AND prices not ringing up correctly - which they never do at Ingles, and even though I've written and complained, it is a constant problem. My list of places where I shop is dwindling. Ingles and WAGS are off my route.

I'm sorry they wouldn't let you use your coupon. As far as I know, their coupon policy has not changed regarding internet printed coupons. You could always try emailing or calling customer service to see if this is a new policy or if your store handled it incorrectly. It may be a good idea to have your receipt handy in case they need any information from you regarding your transaction if you decide to call. Let us know what you find out if you decide to contact them!
