Peru, IL Jewel CLOSING!
Just read a small little article from our local newspaper that says our store is closing March 2nd. I'm so very disappointed and frustrated. Jewel has been my favorite place to coupon for groceries. Now I'm left with Hyvee, Wal-Mart, and a local centrella grocery store. I've been couponing for about a year and I find it so hard to get deals on groceries. It always seemed I could do pretty well at Jewel. Oh well, I guess I have my work cut out for me now.

We have several Jewel-Oscos in Bloomington, IL. Not sure of the distance, but it may be worth the drive. I might have to check out your Hy-Vee. What's their coupon policy?
