I went to Hy-Vee today since I know Wal-mart won't take internet cpns and had the cpns for free flat earth chips. I only had 2 but the clerk told me they no longer take internet cpns becuz people were copying them. Well Hy-Vee is the only grocery store we have here other than Wal-Mart. Does anyone else have a Hy-vee that don't do this? I don't know what to do the only places in this town that takes printables is Target and Walgreens and neither one of them carry these chips let alone half the practically "free" stuff. I am writing to corporate for sure on this. I just used an internet cpn there last week. This just blows my mind!

I did have one old lady refuse my coupon at Hy-vee. So i don't use coupons at hy-vee anymore I took my business to Target. I bought the flat earth chips at target. They are not over by the regular chips . I think by the healhty snacks like rice cakes and things.

I will go back in the am and look again! Thanks! I did go to Hyvee website and they have a cpns tab that sends you to smart source to print out cpns! I emailed them... I had words.....

My Hy-Vee takes internet coupons without difficulty, but I'm always leary of using overage ones there. I instead price match those deals at Walmart.

We too only have one grocery store ... Hy-Vee. I must admit I become a bit envious of all those Kroger deals that get spoken of. I rarely find a fantastic deal at Hy-Vee. If only they would double coupons. Sigh ...

I had a cashier look at them and call a manager over because they were black and white ans she said they should be in color. I explained that I have a LaserJet printer and they print black and white. She did take them but with hesitation.

I received a phone call and this email this am! He said he was mailing me something for my trouble and I told him he didn't have to do that but he insisted so we'll see what I get!
I got a $10 gift card and a cpn for 15cents off per gallon of gas up to 20 gallons.

Thank you for the email! We do take internet coupons, I apologize for the inconvenience we caused and assure you that we will get this communicated to all of our employees. Several months ago we made a decision to not take internet coupons, but we realized very quickly that the decision was a bad one. We obviously didn't do a good job communicating, that we "do take" internet coupons (as long as they scan), to our employees.

Please email me or call me and let me know the name of the cashier, it should be located on your receipt.

Again, thank you for emailing and giving us the opportunity to fix the problem. You could of just started shopping somewhere else and we definitely don't want that.

Wow! What a great response. We have 2 HyVees in Council Bluffs and they are easily the most coupon friendly places around. I do most of my grocery shopping there. They usually have the best deals (and I don't have to worry about my coupons).

I was just in to one of my Hy-Vee's tonight. Because I had over $10 in coupons, a manager had to come over. He would take the two $3 off two Smart Start coupons, but would not take the coupons that would make the Corazonas chips free. He said that normally the coupons for "free" items are frauds and he was "just protecting himself." I was told I could call tomorrow morning and talk with bookkeeping, but he wouldn't accept them. The funny part was, the coupons for Smart Start were worth more than the "free" coupons!

My Hyvee is great about taking coupons including internet ones. They do not every give me overage though. There are times that a mgr has to approve my final total due to the number or total $$ off my bill. I haven't ever figured it out. Maybe it's when the cashiers are new or something.
