I finally hit the 5th and last HyVee in my town. You would not believe the price differences I found! Look for Frankenberry, Count Chocula and Boo Berry cereals. They were consistently the cheapest and the last store I went to had them for $1.99! YAY! Plus I found Cookie Crisp which had a Haloween theme box for $1.99 as well. I'm thinking on Nov. 1st, if there are any of these boxes left they will be discounted even further so I'm heading back again on Sunday. Has anyone tried rolling the $6Q. I've been too chicken to try it, .

I finally tried to roll it last night and it worked for me too. I bought 6 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk. Paid $.23 after Qs and still got my $6Q again! Now I just wish I could find more movie deal boxes.... The one store that had some had the highest prices but now that I know the Q rolls I may go back there again.

Wow, that is great that it rolls. I finally did the deal last night with the pillsbury. I want to do the pillsbury again and then use it on the cereal but my boyfriend is already complaining from all the cereal that we have. But I would like to get two more movie tickets. Those boxes with movie ticket codes are marked pretty high too at my regular Hy Vee I went to, so I might try looking at a different one...even though its still worth it since I am get a couple of movie tickets and the catalina for a few bucks.

I picked up six of the count chocula / boo berry cereals. These were on sale for $1.99. I then used two of the $1/3 general mills coupon that were found in the 9/13 P&G insert. Use the in-ad Hyvee coupon to get instant $10 savings and then get the $6 milk catalina at checkout. Math is as follow 6 boxes of count chocula or boo berry cereal @1.99 a piece = 11.94 - $2 for the $1/3 GM coupons -$10 using the HyVee in store ad = $0.06 credit on your grocery bill Walk out with a $6 catalina good for milk (and whatever) OYNO. I did this deal three times paying in cash. |

Anybody try using the $6 milk catalina on self service?

The Fairfield IA Hy-Vee wouldn't allow us to use any other coupons with this cereal offer, but we still got the $10 off and free milk catalina. On the $6 free milk, you can buy more than one jug of milk, and you can use additional milk coupons to go further. We used the recent Roberts dairy coupons that have been in the Sunday inserts and got a gallon of white milk, 1/2 a gallon of chocolate, and a to-go bottle of Nestle Quik chocolate milk for 6 cents after coupons. |

The deal is even sweeter if you use the 2/1 IPs found here at AFC. It's a 7.00 MM in MO, and the CRT is 6.00 off your next purchase, no milk specified. Did this deal three times this week, the last time the cashier really gave me the eye. I may do it across town tomorrow now that I know the CRT rolls. Thanks! |

Cereal prices on this deal have been dramatically increasing since the weekend. Looks like they are trying to discourage people from buying. Some of the boxes are $3-4 a box now.

Even with it being $3-4 a box I consider it to be a good deal when combined with coupons and purchasing the specially marked movie ticket boxes. We go through lots of cereal which I have been purchasing at Aldi. Now I have the name brand stuff at Aldi price or less. I also received a free sample of Honey Nut Cheerios (signed up for it I think) with (2) $1 off coupons, woot! |

My Hyvee had the Count Chocula, Frankenberry, and Boo Berry for .99 per box!!!!!!!!!! It turned out to be a $6 moneymaker with the IP's plus I got the $6.00 catalina for milk!! I will be donating most of the cereal since I really do not need 60 boxes!!! The manager was the one who told me to take them all so they could get them out of the store. He even laughed and told me good job on the overage!! I have never had good luck at Hyvee until yesterday!!!! |

Yep. It ended Wednesday. We went back and got 6 boxes of golden grahams. After using 3 $2/1 coupons, it ended up costing us $2.28 total, or 38 cents a box, plus we got the $6 catalina for $6 free milk.
