If any of you shop at both Walgreens and Hy-Vee, this might be helpful if you didn't already know... the three Hy-Vee stores near me will all take RR's from Walgreens! If they don't scan they manually enter them. I don't know if this is the case at all Hy-Vee's, but can't hurt to ask if you want to try it!

For the first time today I got told no about using a RR. The manager, who I think is fairly new to this store and has never been super nice, said they won't get reimbursed for it. I am not sure that is true cause it had Kimberly-Clark's address on it for the retailer and it does say manufacturer's coupon at the top... He said if I had used them in the past, I shouldn't have been allowed to. I know they say Redeemable at Walgreens, but they don't say Redeemable ONLY at Walgreens... I didn't argue. But now I am wondering if I should ever even try using one there again. I'm so bummed.

I went into Hyvee this morning and asked the store manager if i could use my RR from Walgreens.. (they were about to expire and i couldnt find anything else i needed at Wags) The store manager was very nice, scanned the RR and said if they scan I am good to go! I grabbed all the deals and headed up to the checkout. the cashier was very rude and did not want to accept them because they said Walgreens on them. so the manager came over and was very upset with the cashier because he didnt even try to scan the coupon. She said you just wasted my time because you didnt trust the customer! So i used all my RR and walked out of there with more than a cart load of stuff.. I know someone posted this before but i cant find it.

Nice! I'll have to ask my store too; I think they are MQ, aren't they? In that case, they shoulds scan anywhere.

Mine in central Iowa takes competitor coupons, whether they scan or not, they manually enter them as "competitor". I used the Target coupons from a month or so ago on 1.00 any Pepsi with no problem. Made for cheap pop. I was told from an email from corporate that it's up to the individual manager for each store, so some may not.
