My mother is in the process of moving so I have been helping her.

Haven't been able to do much the past couple of weeks. My mother is moving and the movers are coming tomorrow am!!

Have been encouraging my mother to throw out items she doesn't want but she said she can focus on only 1 thing at a time. She said she will go through stuff in detail when she gets settled.
I'm not pestering her too much about it.
She moved to her current apt about 4 years ago.
We did the BIG clean out then (over 35 years worth of stuff). Mama was in the hospital for a few days during the last move. My sister and I had free reign to throw out stuff. The stuff we threw out was the size of a small bus (I'm not kidding).
So mama is in pretty good shape but I will help her work on her new apt this summer.

As for me, I'm starting at 2893 items gone.
Here's my small addition to my list:

1 dried out air freshener
2 expired items from fridge
1 broken part to broom (giant plastic piece fell off last night)

Only 7 items to add to the list but that puts me at 2900 items gone!!
