I am so disgusted! I sent the 1st person a ? about their item. Here's what it said:

"Wow! Your House Party is really gonna stink if you sell all the FREE items you got from Gerber for it. Are you gonna throw in the FREE Bib & Thermal Tote if bidding goes high enough? I have friends who were so disapointed to miss out on this party, it's too bad one of them couldn't have gotten in on it instead of you."

I know we don't really have any control over the actions of others, but this just makes me so mad. These people probably don't even have kids & they lied and filled out the application just trying to make a $. I wonder if they applied for the Fisher-Price Party too. Oh, and you guys were the friends I was mentioning! Love ya!

Alright, I'll step down from my soapbox now. But, I am still fuming!

This is aweful!!!!! I'll admit, I didn't actually have the Hershey's bliss party, but I did take all of the chocolate and other goodies to another ladies event and share the stuff with everyone. This really is a let down.

I am mad-I wrote Houseparty and asked if they have anyway to track those people? I also asked for them to PLLEEEEZZZ not stop the parties b/c of the greediness of others.
I told them myself anf my 13 friends that had babies this year would have loved the Gerber one for sure!

I actually got a response to the question I left for the 96 auction...."turns out our baby is allergic to everything that came in the kit". Yeah....RIGHT!

I responded with, "guess it would have been too much trouble to give the food away to the people you were going to invite to the party, as Gerber intended you to do!"

OMG, Kristie, they responded to me too! Gave me the same line about their imaginary baby being allergic too. Um, yeah, and your party guests are all allergic to basic baby food too. Wow! Then they accused me of looking to sell my kit too, OMG! The nerve! I may just feel the need to up the bid and then lose my MO on the mail. Hmmmmmmm...

Q: what is the expiration date on these? Jul-11-08
A: I had to open up one of the sealed boxes to find out- it all got shipped to me this week( 7/7/08)-They say expiration is april 18th 2009- so i'd assume all of them are around that as well. But FYI to everyone- one of the boxes is now opened, but the packets of food are still sealed.

okay so how do they know that their child is allergic to everything if it was never opened. and if they say 'because we have tried the food before' THEN why did they apply for the party in the first place if they had no intention of giving their child the food or any other person they 'invited' the food??

I did get in this party but it really ticks me off for those you you who didn't get to have this party because of them. That is suck a crock of bull crap that your baby is allergic to all 3 kinds of food. GRRR the nerve of some people. And if they get in to the fisher price one and I don't I will be highly peved.
