What is a House Party?

HouseParty.com is a community where people are connected through parties. These parties are typically centered around either a product or TV show. Sometimes there is no party package involved, just online options to print things for your party, but many times the party package includes free products or coupons for free products to use and share at your party.

If anyone is aware of a houseparty that does NOT require various pictures and invites be posted on the web- I'd be interested in applying.

Of the 2 HP's I applied for- both required using some invite software/site and posting pics of the event. I am just not savvy when it comes to those sort of technical electronics things plus the time is would require of me makes it a non-option.

All House Parties want you to post pics of your parties.
I don't use the email invites all the time because some people
don't check their email everyday. When I hosted the Barbie one this summer,
I didn't use it at all. My daughters friends don't have email addys.

I did use the guest manager to keep track of who was coming.

You don't have to use Evite... you can just list the persons name and manage it yourself. The list gives you the option to add a Yes, No, or Maybe. I personally, have always done it on my own with no emails given.

Posting the photos are actually quite easy. As long as they are on your computer, all you need to do is follow the directions on the Houseparty site...it is as easy as clicking on "browse" and "upload". Don't let that discourage you.

There are so many that do not post photos, or even write comments about it. You don't have to do anything special, but I would think you would want to, not only to say thank you to free items, but to be asked to do another one.

If you need step by step instructions, I would be more than happy to help. It is a lot of fun...more fun than I thought it would be. My last party was a huge success even though I had changed my email address and didn't realize I was picked until the package showed up at my door. I actually found a lot of appetizers to make that I would not have even thought of prior to this...
