I ended up with 15 boxes of cereal. I still have another $10 catalina to spend on this week's new sales. Can't wait to see what's in the ad. After I paid $1 OOP today for 5 boxes of cereal, 5 boxes of cereal bars, 1 loaf of bread and 2 packages of cube steak, my hubby was like "why did we ever stop couponing???" I have no idea other than I had no more room!!!

I had 50 boxes of cereal, 45 boxes of snacks,cookies ect. Still have a $10 cat. I purchased almost $500 worth of groceries this week only spent $59 and some change!

And here I thought I bought too many! You must have a big crew to feed. I only have 2 kids so we don't go thru tons of cereal but I like to keep it around for them. You did good!

I have 4 kids so I will use it all up plus I helped out a single mom and a friend with 3 kids of her own.

I used 1.50/3 cereal
$1/2 cereal
$1/2 snacks
$1.50/2 snacks
no coupon for 5th snack
Paid $7 for all 10 used $10 cat filled with meat ect had $2 off beef, $2 off baggies when purchasing 2 cereal ect

I have made 2 trips. I was only able to use manu q's at one location. I have 10 boxes of cereal. I am thinking about doing another run tomorrow. I just dont know where I will put it.

Even without MQ's, this can still be a Good Deal and Very Simple.

Purchase (5) of the required Cereals
Purchase (5) of the required Snacks(Cookies/crackers/kelloggs snacks)

Cut out Q's from Weekly ad
(1) $5 off Cereal
(1) $5 off Snacks
+
(1) $2.36 printed from HL website( located under coupons)

Total for First transaction--after HL Q's
$7 for Cereal
$7 for snacks
Total $14 - $2.36=$11.64 + Tax
You will receive a Catalina for $10 off your next order.

2nd transaction( I go to another store, less hassle, than being rejected for doing multiple orders)

Do all the above + use the $10 Catalina and your new total is $1.64 + Tax
I always have other items in my orders, so it could be + or - a lil bit.

This is the Best Deal I have seen on cereal, its definately worth stocking up ( if you have the room, or start being creative in where to put extra groceries) and a lot of products do not expire until sometime next year( check those expiration dates......I have seen some of the cookies that expired in JUNE @ one store...eeeek!)

When there is a great sale like this, you have shop different, as to having an idea of what will you use in the next 6 months!

All the top of the cabinets are pretty much full! I rolled in the coffee and the noodles. and you can see here pics 3-6 the loot after a few transactions

I have heard talk that your area gets hit Hard!
There were days here, the store was out of my brand, but shelves were useally full again the next day, and I just got another flavor ( my chickens are not picky what brand...) Some of the stores had Large Displays up front.

We did discuss this early on, that it was a Hot deal, and those kind of deals, you can not wait till the end of week to find much.
If anyone finds themself in the same situation, might want to try checking out another closer store, to be ready in the future( like knowing how the store is set up and where items basically are)

It's not about luck ( well, sometimes we do get lucky and the stock is still on the shelf....) but it does take a lot of patience in the beginning, to using Q's more effectively :-)

I have a $10 catalina left, and will send in 2 Kelloggs calendar rebates for $10 each, so I will have a profit of around $4 minus my stamps for the rebates! Whoot!

I imagine they are referring to the Kelloggs/Keebler/Sunshine/Eggo $10 Rebate. You just need to buy 10 of any of the items. I did see an auction for these forms on ebay way too much for me. They are the 09 calendar rebates. HTH

Girl I told you about this! There are from Kellogg's 09 Reward cards. I got 8 rebate forms in trades. You can do up to 8 per house hold! I sent in all 8 yest. You just need the receipts for 10 per transaction circled and the rebate form. You can also sent more than one in the same envie. Post marked by 8/31/10 i believe exp 7/31

I have 25 boxes. I didn't even start going until late in the week. I hit several stores and even those store had restocked before I went back.
