This may be old news to some of you, but I didn't know it so probably someone else doesn't either.

One of my News Years Resolutions this year was to start using reusable bags when I went shopping of course I haven't really done it (yes, I know it is October but better late than never). Anyway, my husband's grandmother sent him a bunch of Denver Bronco bags earlier this week and he told me if I wanted to continue couponing I had to use them. So against my will I drug them with me last night to Homeland. Boy was I suprised when the cashier credited me .15 per bag. Yeah, I only had three but I will take what ever I can get. No more plastic bags for me.

That is great! I have one bag I bought this month. (one of the pink ones for breast cancer awareness month). If they do this at my store I will definatly buy more and use them!!! Thanks for the heads up.

Wow! $.15ea is a lot. Target is $.05 and CVS has it where you buy a green tag and it gets swiped once per day after 4 you $1 ecb. Guess I'm going to have to go buy some just to even more.

I use the plastic ones for the cats, but oh well. I'll just go swipe some from the recycle box at walmart when I have to go for my papers each Sunday. Besides with all the shopping I'm doing here lately I have more than enough.

I think she means the cloth bags, not just reusing the plastic ones that you get. I think...

Yeah, that's what she means. That's why I put the first bit of info. I just meant if I'm using the cloth reusable ones I'll have to get the plastic ones I need for kitty litter from the recycle box.

Sorry that thought wasn't exactly clear my 2yr old was trying to turn off my laptop because she wants to go outside. She doesn't get that it's freezing out.

I had no clue that Homeland did this either! I love it!
I use them at Target but I need a few plastic bags for the bathroom trashcans and to keep around for our yard sales and stuff. But for 15¢ a bag I will start using them there now! I wish I would have known this yesterday and I could have taken a whopping 75¢ off my trip today! LOL

I use my reuseable cloth bags all the time at Homeland and never get a refund of any kind. I'll try to remember to ask the next time I go in.

I will definatly have to buy a few more if they do this at the Homeland in Del City. I will make sure to ask the next time I am in there.

It was the Homeland in Norman off Alameda and 12th. I also went to the off Robinson in Norman and they didn't do it. But the one on Alameda is my regular store.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they don't give me a refund because I already save so much money in there!

Do you think they'll do it if I bring my Wal-Mart bags in? That's all I have and I don't want to have to buy one for each store!

Mine had Denver Broncos on it, so surely if they do it for the Broncos they will do it for Walmart.

I always use my reusable bags at Target now...but the one on NW Expressway only gives 5¢ a bag

I use reusable bags everywhere I go and I don't think I've every got money back for it .
