Today I spent $89.00 at the NW Expressway Homeland. My total was $145.00 before coupons. I didn't notice until I was in my car, but I didn't get a gas catalina this time, just two catalina coupons for yogurt. Have they done away with this program? Anyone know anything?

Nope, I went 2 days ago to the NW Expressway store and got $.20 off. Maybe it just alternates?

If they do not scan your card it will not print the gas cats...if they just scan a store card or their card it will not print...it has to be a valid and registered card or your phone number that is attached to your card. I always have to use my phone number since I have lost my card. But, if you take your receipt in to CS they will reprint the gas cat for you, I have had them do it for me at that store b4 when they did not enter my correct phone number and it did not print.

Oh! I totally forgot to have my card scanned. That's it! Thank you so much! I noticed I was over-charged for my Johnsonville Italian sausage so I have to go back anyway.

I ended up just getting a new card because for some reason I couldn't remember to give them my phone number after I lost the old card.. I usually stick the card with my q's that I will be using so it makes it easier to remember..

I need to get another card but I always seem to forget when I get to the register...LOL. That will be my goal this week! I will pick up another card. I have not even been into HL in the last week b/c I have been so busy, I usually make no less than 4 shops there a week to pick up my freebies...ughhh...I am having withdrawels.

Don't forget to have your card scanned! I went back today and got my gas coupon but it was for .30 off and not .50 off as it would have been the first time. They only took into account my after coupon price. Normally it will print off my total before coupons. Bummer. Oh well, live and learn.

I was there yesterday and I forgot to give them my card (my boys were with me and it was a little crazy) but my gas Cat still printed.. That has never happened before..

If it doesn't print, just have the cashier initial the amount of the discount on the receipt. I have had to do this before and it works fine.

The gas cat may be exclusive to the NW Expressway store in OKC. (I'm not sure on that.) That store has a gas station because it used to be an Albertson's. So when you shop you get a gas cat printed after your receipt for so many cents off a gallon of gas up to 20 gallons. You can combine up to 3 cats or $1.50 off per gallon. You just take the cat into the station and pay inside.

There are a few Homelands with gas stations.. the Del City store on 29th and Sunnylane also has one.. I have used one of the gas cat (cat = catalina) from the NW Expressway store at the Del city store so you don't have to use them at the Homeland where you got the cat..
