It's so sad that we are down to one Homeland store in the Tulsa area, and it now has the management that was so un-coupon-friendly at the now closed Catoosa store.

Today, I decided to email the Reasor's home office and ask them if they would offer a competative coupon-doubling policy that would compete with Homeland stores (double coupons up to $ 1. ) I told them that there are several stores in other areas that offer doubles and even triple coupons, and we would love to see that here in Okla.

Reasor's is family owned and growing nicely. They have nice clean stores, and carry lots of variety. I would like to shop there, but like Homeland, they are too expensive unless they offer double coupons up to 1.00 to compensate for the other items that are higher.

Maybe if we all band together and send them enough emails, they might consider it. There is strength in numbers ! It would be soooo nice to have some more stores to replace the Homelands we've lost in Tulsa.

I explained that the Food Pyramid stores double up to .50 coupons, but that is not really enough to entice the bulk of serious coupon shoppers.

I believe that Reasors is an agressive and up-coming store that could handle it if they heard from enough of us to realize the volume we all could make in additional customer base for them.

How about you all ? Would you please join me in an effort to get the attention of Reasors in this ? It could be great for a lot more people to be able to save money. And it could be great for Reasors to snag a whole lot of customers away from the Walmart monster that threatens our regular grocery markets. It's a win-win for everyone ! Please send an email and ask, plead, beg, for double coupons up to $ 1.00 at Reasors ! If they get enough emails, they might bring it up in their next executive meeting.

no Reasors stores in my area, but I am all for your idea. The more stores that double and are coupon friendly the better!

I would love it! Country Mart in Bixby and Glenpool also double up to $.50 but their prices are also high and they don't have great sales. Can you post your contact info for Reasors? I'll definately write them! Thanks!

To send your email go to their website Reasor's Foods - The Right Stuff. The Right Price.. , scroll down to the bottom of the page anc click on the "contact us". It will give you a chance to enter your information for their mailing list etc. (they still send out their sale flyer, I used to get Homeland's on the same day). Then it gives an opportunity to write what you want to tell them.

I've emailed them twice........ I also invited them to visit AFC and see how many of us there are that are coupon-active. Hopefully with enough attention, they might consider it. Keep trying.. lets get it done ! We NEED double coupons up to 1.00
at Reasors. Don't we ?

Reasor's website and grocery ad is very nice online too.

I think they are doing a 10/ $10.00 deal on Dawn and Joy dish liquid right now. There's also a Bush's Beans 1.00 coupon (Mfg.) in the flyer. It can be used at Homeland also.

Speaking of Reasors....I have some fantastic coupon books that the bank I work at (ONB Bank) is selling to raise $$ for United Way! They are $5 each and SO worth it! On the back cover is a $5/$50 coupons for Reasors and it's filled with great manufacturers Qs that don't expire until July 2010! I haven't typed up all the Qs to list yet but here are a few to name:

$1/2 Kraft singles
$1/2 Ritz
$1 any All detergent
$1 any Energizer battery
$1/3 Libbys Gourmet canned veggies

I can't remember all of them and I've left the books at work...if anyone is interested just PM me! Thanks!!

Tahlequah schools did this as a fundraiser last year and I bought one. It was VERY worth it....some great coupons in there!!

I wish I could get one this year....what is ONB bank and where are they located?

ONB Bank is in Tulsa, Sapulpa, Owasso, Edmond & Stillwater...I can mail you a book (or more ) if you'll PM me your addy. I'll figure postage tomorrow at work and let you know! I ordered 5 for myself...they are good for almost a year! Lots of good Homeland Qs in there!

If everyone will participate we may see results. I've sent 2 emails so far and I will send another one tomorrow. I explained about Homelands' 1.00 q policy, now I will tell them about what Harps is doing.

But I'm only one little voice..... we all need to do this for it to work. They will listen if they get enough emails about this.

I know they got my email because I got an acknowlegement from them after the second email. It was only a standard "thank you for contacting us" type thing.....
but it's a start. C'mon everyone, get those emails out to them. There are lots of Reasor's locations. If they would do it, it would be great !
