I just found Hen House 2 weeks ago. well, I knew they existed, but I always thought they were on the more expensive side. I was so happy to learn that they double coupons!! I think they are our only store that really does, correct me if I am wrong.

This week, I got:

Libbey veggies $.48/each, used $.50/3 coupon that doubled, so 3 cans for $.44
Frostings - $1.37, after coupon it was only $.37

and lots of other stuff Hopefully there are more people out there & we can get this thread going!

I just started shopping there again a few months ago; it is a bit of a drive for me but their sales are usually really good!

I shop at the one in Lee's Summit, but my sister shops at one on the KS side. As far as I know they all double coupons $.50 and under.

I have been buying my milk there using the Roberts coupons - they say DND, but they do, and you can get a quart of milk for $.40!! That is $1.60/gallon! I cant drink much milk, but I buy a quart a week. Lasts longer, and its hella cheap. If you buy whole milk you can dilute it 50/50 with water to get 2%....

I shop at the one in Lee's Summit once a week. They are expensive if you're paying regular price (ha!) but they have great sales and you can't beat double coupons.

I shop at the one in Olathe...since we lost Dillon's (Kroger) they're the only store that double coupons everyday.

I'll buy stuff if it's on sale and I have a coupon. Otherwise I think the other local stores have better prices.

The Shopping List is a weekly match-up of the sales and coupons for a store. We are hoping to get a Shopping List going in every store forum, and the people that have a store locally are usually the best candidates for helping out!!

I think their sales are typically better than the others in the area - and add on the fact that they double.... ahh : )

I love the fact that they double everyday. I just wish that they would double up to a dollar. I guess I will have to settle for the 50 cents.

The Shopping List consists of entering the items that are on sale for the week into our system, then using the coupon database to find coupons that match those sales.

Hen House does not currently have any SLAs (Shopping List Assistants). If anyone that shops there is interested in helping, please start a thread in Contact Us and let us know!! We can use multiple SLAs in a forum, and having more than one person assigned helps make it easier for everyone.

Great info here! I am doing research to help a friend start couponing in the KC area. My SIL told me none of the stores there do double or triples, but now i know that there is at least one! I used to live in KC north, and shopped at Price Chopper or Hyvee occasionally, but I don't recall either of those doubling. Good luck!

omg the hen house i know of is a restaurant never heard of a hen house store
