Hi! I am brand new to AFC! I am also an HEB shopper because other than Wal-Mart, that's all there is around me. I shop at the Lake Creek and Parmer/McNeil stores. I really like HEB because the produce and products are always fresh and the stores are super clean. I wish they would double or triple coupons and I wish they would let you use manufacturer coupons with their store coupons.

we shop at the HEB Plus in San Antonio, Love the Produce!! and love the fact that it is a clean store.

I also shop at HEB in San Antonio. There's just about one on every corner. It's not my primary store since I live a stones throw away from Walmart & Super Target but I do ocassionally stop in for some sale items. I would go more often if they offered store Q's.

We have a Pantry in Angleton and I work in Alvin, which also has a Pantry...travel to Silverlake/Pearland for the "Big HEB" from time to time. I love the Meal Deals and find that I can do a quick drop in for a few items much easier at our HEB rather than the bigger Kroger or WMart in Angleton. Coupon deals seem to be better at Kroger with doubling/tripling...but I just HATE that store.

My family just moved to Belton Texas in August. HEB is new to me and I am also still trying to learn the ropes. I do enjoy some of their meal deals but find that I don't use alot of my mq's there. I have been using most of my mq's at Walmart, CSV and Target.

Austin, TX here. I frequent 2 HEBs in southwest Austin.

Don't often get their meal deals because the freebies aren't things we eat. Some of the combo locos can be pretty sweet if you have a manuQ on the first item. HEB is my needs store and the one I'll pop out to for last minute things.

I shop the HEB in Beaumont. It is actually a PLUS store. So far, I have not been able to find a site that shows the sales matched with coupons. So I use Kroger a lot since I am able to match up deals on a site instead of having to do it myself.

I shop at the HEB in Copperas Cove. I usually only go there when they have really good meal deals but mostly shop at the SWM down the road.

I usually shop at William Cannon/Brodie location, but sometimes on Escarpment or Slaughter.

Just reading this thread I realized that 6 of you shop where I do or very near. I usually shop the HEBs in Killeen/Harker Heights. But sometimes Copperas Cove. I have to admit I'm not the craziest about HEB. I hate how the yellow coupons are considered mfqs so you can't use your regular coupons with them. Other than HEB all there is is Walmart. I wish we had some grocery competition!

I'm in Pflugerville (north side of Austin) and I usually frequent the HEB that's a couple blocks from my house for small trips, because it's a smaller store and has a limited selection. For my larger stockup trips I cross town to the bigger HEB that has a much better seafood counter and meat selection, as well as a small bulk area for spices and nuts.

I shop in San Marcos TX - our Kyle store is a plus. The kyle store never lets me use a q on the item required to get freebies....in SM the college cashiers I don't think look at them unless they beep - but it's crowded....so I've been shopping the dreaded wally for every day and Target for the freebies

Just moved to Texas a few months ago, so we never heard of HEB. Tried it a few times, still not a big fan, especially the meat and produce. I have 2 kids and with the hubby comes they can go off to toys or electrnics at walmart. Live out side of San Antonio area.

Hi y'all. I shop the Pflugerville, Round Rock & Taylor area (live right between the three towns). I really despise HEB. It drives me crazy so I only go when they have a really good sale. I have an HEB pretty close to me, but go out of my way to shop at super WM and we just got a super T in Pflugerville a few months back, but I need to figure out how to shop it.

I wish the people employed by HEB stores would take a class on corporate Q policy! That and I wish they doubled Q's. I'd shop there more.

I shop at my local HEB in Lytle Texas if I can't really get away otherwise I go to the HEB plus in San Antonio near 1604/Potranco and shop there, usually its a lot cheaper plus they have a fish market there so I can get better quality fish. Its about a 30min drive so I try to run errands same time.

Also on Potranco we have a super Walmart and down the road CVS and two Walgreens.
Locally we have a super S store that takes double coupons but not worth it sometimes because the price is so high or the food is bad/old.

I live on a farm, so I am lucky down the road is fresh raw milk from a farmer, I raise our own lamb, chicken eggs, with have honey/pecans and we are trying to do a garden & small orchard. Thanks for starting this thread HEB I need it.

I'm a lurker, and not a frequent poster either. Mostly because I'm still really new at all this. But I live in Corpus Christi, where there is an HEB on every corner it seems like.. We have a Super Walmart, but its not worth the drive and hassle for me. I shop at a Plus, which is in the area where I grew up, and feel most comfortable even though its not necessarily the closest. Everyone there is very laid back (being so close to the ocean, the community kinda has that beach bum lifestyle), and I can usually use my IP coupons hassle free.
I do agree, it takes some getting used to the yellow "manufacturer" coupons. I really hope we can get a steady heads up going of Deals/Coupon Matchups for HEB, because it's where we (my family) do the bulk of our grocery shopping, and we really appreciate any help, especially when it comes to stretching our dollar!
