| HEB .88 strawberries
Just curious, is it only South Austin that has their strawberries marked at .88 a lb? Our HEB had recently been in a little produce price war with a competitor but it seems to have died down, dangit. I stocked up! My girls and I can blow through a container in one sitting. I was afraid I wouldn't seem them priced that low again. |

I went last night and they were 1.99! So no .88 strawberries here! that would have been suh-weet. My kids love 'em. Ah well i love them too!

I'll keep stocking up then and freezing them! They seem better when slightly thawed with sugar than the already frozen variety. Not to mention cheaper. ![]() ETA: They weren't advertised but their comp had advertised theirs at that price. |
