I'm vacationing on the Big Island late June. We're staying in a condo with a fridge. We'd like to do some grocery shopping for our stay and I wanted to check out some of the sales before I go.

If anybody could link me up with names of grocery stores near 96740 (I believe it is on the west side), I'd be very thankful! I could prob send you some q's from your WL and definitely give you positive feedback

I live on the Big Island. I moved here a year ago from Honolulu. Sadly, there isn't much here. In Kona, you will find Wal-Mart, Target, Safeway, KMart, Costco, and Longs Rx (owned by CVS), and their coupon policies are the same as they would be on the mainland. However, the stores are much smaller than the continental US. Local stores KTA Supermarkets and Sack N Save have their own coupons in the local Wednesday and Sunday papers. If you purchase a Sunday paper, buy the county paper (Tribune Herald) $1 vs. the state-wide paper (Star Advertiser) $3. The inserts are the same, except no RP, which isn't worth the extra $2. My last RPs only included 6 coupons, none of which I had use for. Hope this helps.
