Thanks so much for the input, Moggy. =) I looked in Harris Teeter's official coupon policy (and EVIC coupon policy) and thought they were wrong, but I also wondered if the policy had changed or if others were experiencing the same thing at their Harris Teeters. I appreciate the help! Happy Holidays! |

Forgive me if this has already been answered but I'm pressed for time and can't do much of a search ![]() Say I have an E-Vic for, oh, 50 cents off something. And let's say I have a paper coupon for the same thing, also for 50 cents off. I understand the E-Vic won't double. Will the paper coupon still double, though? Thanks in advance!!!!!! |

Can you keep using ZVRs or are they a one-time use coupon. If I buy two of a sale product that has a ZVR, will that ZVR amount come off twice when I buy both in a same transaction? If not, will it come off again if I have loaded it to my card and do two different transactions? TIA.

It also seems as though the ZVRs are regional since I didn't get the protein bars or the Nutella ones. Can you list a store out of your area as you selected store in order to get "different" ZVRs to load to your card? Last edited by Losingitagain; 08-09-2012 at 06:28 AM. |

I don't know about changing your store to get different ZVR's - I think they're probably attached to your mailing address. Also, sometimes they offer a ZVR and if you don't grab it right away it disappears so it pays to try to remember to check daily to see if there are any new ones.

I don't think the ZVRs are attached to your address because the address I registered under doesn't have HT in that region of the country. I did select a store that is near where I am staying, and I thought that is where I am getting the ZVRs from. I switched it to another store in another state (Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC are close in proximity to each other) but that didn't seem to affect which ones I received. I had no idea they changed them...I thought it was offered by the week. Is there a limit as to how many you can load to your card? I tried to load them all (just in case some awesome deal came up) and after a while, it didn't seem like I was able to load any more. Sorry for all of the questions! |

ZVR's might also be linked to prior purchases - sounds like you're probably a new Vic member so you may not get as many ZVRs yet as some of us who have been Vic members for years - I don't know that for a fact, just a guess. We get a weekly eVic email on Friday's with personalized deals - we don't all get the same things - I think that's supposed to be based on what you normally purchase ~ although sometimes I wonder. Yes, there is a limit as to how many ZVRs you can have loaded to your card at one time. I think its 99 -its about 5 computer pages of q's. When you reach your limit and try to save another it will pop up a 'failed to save' message - at that point you would have to remove some q's if you want to add others. Just go to the "my saved coupons' tab at the top right hand side of the screen and click on that, when that view opens you'll see the 'remove' option under each coupon, that's how you take them off. Also, if you haven't done it yet - be sure to go to savingstar.com and sign up and register your Vic card - those coupons don't come off your order but the $ is put into an account which you can cash out once you reach $5. Sometimes we'll have a paper q, a ZVR and a SavingStar credit all on the same item (we use S* for short when we're talking about SavingStar btw). Ask all the questions you want, we've all asked them at one point or another and I'm sure there are probably others who were wondering the same things.

| This e-coupon program started in early 2011, with over 100 retail chains with 21,000 locations nationwide. You can join for FREE*. SavingStar is the first national, fully digital, grocery eCoupon service, available for free and on iPhone and Android mobile apps. SavingStar works like other eCoupon programs, which means nothing to clip and nothing to print. When you pre-register your store loyalty cards, your savings will be redeemed when your card is swiped at checkout. However, unlike some of the other eCoupon programs, you will not necessarily see the savings at the register. You will get your savings deposited into your SavingStar account. You can then redeem your SavingStar savings via Bank Deposit, Paypal, Amazon gift cards or AmericanForest.org (more options to come in the future). Once you hit $5, you can select a payout option. *Terms of Service (updated July 2011) Some fine print to note: ETA: Some states prohibit inactivity fee's to be deducted from your accounts. "INACTIVE ACCOUNT FEE SavingStar does not charge a fee to join. However, it is your responsibility to keep your Account active. If your Account becomes Inactive, SavingStar will deduct a monthly Inactivity Fee of $1.99 from any Awards received in your Account. Your Account will be considered “Inactive” if, for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months you have not activated an offer, received an Award, or withdrawn Awards from your Account. In the event that your Account will soon be deemed Inactive, SavingStar will attempt to notify you at your registered email address before it begins to deduct Inactivity Fees from the Awards in your Account. If your Account is Inactive, you may automatically reactivate it by activating an offer or withdrawing Awards. If your state’s law prohibits SavingStar from charging an Inactivity Fee of $1.99, SavingStar may deduct an Inactivity Fee equal to the maximum permitted by the laws of your state. SavingStar will continue to deduct the monthly Inactivity Fee from Awards received in your Account until the earliest of: (i) your Account ceases to be Inactive, (ii) there are no more Awards in your Account, or (iii) your Account is closed. Each state has its own escheatment law which requires companies to turn over to the state property of its residents that the state deems to be unclaimed or abandoned. If your Account has not had any activity, as defined by your state of residence according to our records, for a certain period of time (generally three to five years), the applicable Rewards Program may be required by law to remit Awards in your Account to the state of your last known address. Similarly, if you have a check issued by the applicable Rewards Program that has not been cashed after a certain period of time (also generally three to five years), the applicable Rewards Program may be required by law to remit the amount of the uncashed check to the state of your last known address. If we remit funds to your state of residence as required by law, you will need to contact the state directly to obtain the funds."
