Harris Teeters in my area (Eastern NC) have just had a reset of the stores (
10 buggies full of clearance items at the one I went to. HP computer paper $2.74, HP photo paper all sizes a little more than half off. Ton's of medicines, Toothpaste $1.00-1.49 colgate and crest, weird flavors. Found alot of items I had coupons for and alot I didn't but still great bargins to find. Even found a coupon keeper for .34. Yeah. Since I'm new to this that will come in handy.

Anyone been to the MD one to see if ours is the same? Since our store in Columbia is brand new, I wonder if we would...

I plan to go to the Columbia store this morning if DD is feeling cooperative. 5 months old so it's anybody's guess. I'll try to post when I get back if I find any clearance.

I went this morning and my internet connection has been down until now (thanks, comcast!). I didn't see a clearance area anywhere and there are only 2 aisles I missed, but I did glance down. There's a big unsused space to the right of the pharmacy so I'm guessing stuff will land there when they do some clearance.

On another note, I went w/DD in her carseat in the cart and forgot about their strange checkout setup where they take all the things out of your cart and it gets transferred to another. The cashier was SUPER sweet w/DD and so patient w/all of my coupons. She had to reach all around DD's carseat to get to everything - I did help w/that b/c I know that was a real pain. I would have carried DD in the bjorn if I had remembered. When she was done, she asked the bagger to transfer the bags back into the cart w/DD's carseat and she said "that's ok. I can just walk this out to your car." I said that wasn't necessary, but she was so nice and smiled and said "I'm sure it would be easier - it's so hot out today and you have to get the baby back into the car, too." So she walked out w/me and even loaded the bags into the trunk. I don't carry cash or I would definitely have tipped her, but I'll make a point to let customer service know how great the cashier and bagger were.

That's great about the cashier and bagger. I am LOVING HT and their policies. Their Customer Service is jsut top notch so far!

I went to the store here in Rocky Mount, NC yesterday and they had the Zantac 150 marked down to 1.87 so I grabbed it up and used my $5 off coupon printed from Walgreens! That gave me $3.13 overage.
