Was wondering if anyone did the Kingsford charcoal evic on Saturday for the special of $6.97 (limit 2) and also bought the rancher ground beef (the 2lb. chub). My evic stated I was supposed to get $2 off the rancher ground beef when I bought the charcoal. I bought 2 bags of charcoal and 2 - 2lb. chubs of rancher ground beef. I received the evic for the charcoal but not for the ground beef. Did this happen to anyone else?

I wondered about the 2-lb chubs so asked the butcher. He double-checked and informed me that the e-Vic special was for the freshly ground packages only, not the chubs....so that's what I bought and the $2 came right off.

But, the wording was not clear about that. If I were you I'd bring in my receipt and ask CS about it.

Fritzie thanks for your reply, I will take it up with customer service but I was also going with the picture in my email which shows the chub pack, the regular would have been cheaper!!! Thanks again!!

I was just going to say that the email shows the chub pack ~ they definately screwed that one up if that wasn't the case.
