If you plan on doing the Saturday E-Vic for Kingsford charcoal, make sure to visit Savingstar first and activate this new offer. They just released a $5 offer wyb $20 of Kingsford and KC Masterpiece products.

My particular E-Vic says the regular price of the charcoal is $11.95 and you save $4.98 which ends up with the special price of $6.97 with a limit of two. In the past, I have gotten purchase credit for the full amount (in this case $11.95) since the E-Vic is a special kind of discount and not a regular sales price. However, it's possible we'll only get credit for the $6.97 each, in which case you'll have to buy some additional items prior to the 8/2/12 end date.

If you get credit for the full $11.95, the two bags of charcoal alone will hit the purchase requirement, and you'll get the following:

Buy (2) Kingsford at $6.97
Get 2 X $2 off of HT beef (if you also have that E-Vic)
Get $5 Savingstar credit

Net cost $4.94 without any coupons

I know people have found some peelies and/or beer rebates that would make this deal ever better.

Do you have to buy 2 packs of beef or can you get $4 off of one with the purchase of 2 Kingsford?

I think you'd probably have to buy two packages to work at the register, although it might work on just one package. If it doesn't, I'm sure customer service would give it to you if you took it to them.

The good news is that HT has its 80% rancher ground beef on sale for $2.49/lb, so to be on the safe side, just buy two smaller packages of at least a pound each to avoid any hassle.
