It was in an insert but I cut all mine up & put into binders so I'm not sure where it came from... It says $2 off ANY Smithfield Ham but it is a whole ham pictured on it so I wasn't sure?

I was always told that we go by the wording on the coupon not the picture since they tend to usually picture the most expensive item, so yes, you can use it.

Harris Teeter... I haven't actually looked @ HT for it but I seen it in the EL so was going to look for it tomorrow when I go.

According to the database it was in the 4/1 Smart Source insert, but must have been regional, because I don't have it.

I tried to get a ham steak at walmart with that coupon today and the cashier said it was only on a full ham because of the picture :sad:

Did she scan it or just decide becuz of the picture? The wording clearly says "ANY" not any full ham.

If she scanned it and it beeped, that's one thing but if she didn't even scan it then I would try again with a different cashier.

So has anyone actually used the coupon for the lunch meat at Harris Teeter? I would really like to know if it's going to work before I try it. I hate when the register beeps!

nope, she wouldn't scan it ... i read the wording to her and she said that what i had was ham steak, not ham *rolls eyes* i just took my q back and told her i would just get another ham steak and use it later won't go back to that cashier though - sad thing is that my FAVORITE cashier was in the next aisle and I missed her!

I don't think they have the lunchmeat here or i'd try that too!

Exactly why I never shop at Walmart. About a year ago I tried to buy lunchmeat and use a coupon that said "Save $1.00 on any meat when you buy Worcestershire sauce". Cashier went and got a shift supervisor who told it was only for meat from the meat department, which my Walmart doesn't have because it isn't a Super Walmart.

I boycotted them for a while, then ventured back when they changed their coupon policy to give overage. Cashier had a cow with every coupon that was for more than the item purchased. I kept showing her the policy and trying to explain that it was OK, but she just wasn't getting it. It just isn't worth the hassle to me.

I used 5 of them at FL yesterday. 1 on a spiral ham and the other 4 on Smithfield Black Forest Deli Style Ham in the lunch meat section. They scanned just fine. It was the first time I actually realized they said ANY Smithfield Ham.

I agree. I hate to even go there at all (at least the one closest to me, other Walmarts I am fine with), even without coupons! Through couponing I've learned that you really don't save money shopping there. Yeah, their prices may be cheaper than other grocery stores, but some things are only by a few cents! They don't double coupons, they don't allow e-coupons, and as we've seen here they SUCK at following the coupon policy! It's not just coupons, it's WIC and formula checks as well that they just keep making up rules about! I had one tell me that I had to get Skim milk to use a WIC check and that I had gotten Nonfat. God help us all! I had another tell me that I couldn't use a Similac formula check on formula that wasn't pictured. And then the attitude that goes along with it, you're right, some things just aren't worth the effort!

I used them today on the ham steaks and they scanned fine. I had a b1g1 raincheck, so I paid $6.26 for 6 packs. They are 3.99 lb.
