Whew, trip #2...lots and lots of OOS. The store was empty, probably because everyone knew there was so much out of stock, LOL. Still, not a bad trip. Picked up some items that are slightly higher priced and it looks like my Yoplait kids yogurt ZVR didn't come off, so my OOP wasn't as LOW as I'd have liked. Still a great bargain, though. Day 2 3x Ragu spaghetti sauce - $1.99 + 3x $.55/1 = $.34 ea. 3x Dole pineapple chunks - $.99 + $.50/3 = $.49 ea. 2x Dole mandarin oranges - $1.69 + $.50/2 = $.94 ea. 1x Dole tropical fruit jar - $2.99 + $.75/1 = $.74 2x Ortega taco sauce - $1.67 + $.50/2 = $.92 ea. 2x Ortega refried beans - $1.00 + $.50/2 =$.25 ea. 2x French's Honey Dipping sauce - $2.00 + 2x $.50/1 = $.50 ea. 1x Jif peanut butter - $3.29 + $.55/1 = $1.64 3x Hungry Jack pancake mix - $2.85 + 3x $.75/1 = $.60 ea. 1x Vlasic pickles - $3.49 + $.75/1 = $1.24 2x Philly Indulgence - $2.99 + 2x $.55/1 = $1.34 ea. 2x Yoplait Trix yogurt - $2.50 + $.75/2 = $1.38 ea. (should've $1 ea. but my ZVR didn't come off, grrrr) 2x Hillshire Farms Deli Carvers lunch meat - $3.50 + 2x $.55/1 = $1.85 ea. Total: $64.03 Evics / q's / ZVRs: $40.93 OOP: $23.10 EDIT: fixed my post because I'm an idiot.

Here's my second day of triples trip: Reeses Cereal Trix cereal Miracle Whip French's mustard (2) Kraft Fresh Takes (2) Jello Temptations (2) Dean's Heat & Eat dip Dole frozen fruit cup Welch's light grape juice Pepperidge Farm baked crackers Starkist Auth. tuna Jack Daniel's marinade Chock Full of Nuts coffee Minute Rice Gum Star Wars toothbrush Ball Park hot dog buns (2) No coupon: 1 strawberry It was around $50 some before coupons and $12.97 after. I think one of my coupons wasn't scanned and I mentioned that to them but they told me that they got them all. It was hard to figure out since 10 out of the 20 wouldn't scan and they had to manually put them in and did that by combining several coupons at once instead of individually. |

Not a trip, but needed to tell someone that would understand. I cleaned out one of my pantries just now, and I have 38 bottles of hot sauce. Omg. We might use 2 bottles a year....why do I keep getting more?!

Went today at 1:30 with two grandbabies. WOW! You poor mamas that do that on a regular basis. I have forgotten how challenging that is - trying to keep your coupon total and keeping them entertained at the same time. I couldn't believe how well-stocked the shelves were - very pleased. Had to put some back becuz I found more than 20 items. Love triples - so far have used 40 coupons and have plenty more to use if they keep the shelves stocked! OOP: $2.81 SAVED: $46.78 |

| I fell into that trap when I first started couponing - I went nuts getting free BBQ sauce - it was such a waste, I gave a lot to the foodbank thankfully. Problem with hotsauce is that its packed in glass and our foodbank won't take anything in glass containers.

OMG! These coupons gave my cashier the hardest time. First I was told I couldn't use them because it would make the items free! Then they said I had probably gone over my 20 q limit, then the manager said the computer would not accept the coupons, I told her it was a manual override from when I used them at another HT yesterday but she said no can do. So of course I asked her to take those items off but instead she voided my entire transaction and redid my order with the Ortega coupons first. It worked out in the end but I was nervous about her sifting through her coupon envelope for my coupons, I like to hand them over a few at a time and she probably had about 80 coupons in that envelope!
