It says "instant savings" so I think it should have come off. I'd bring your receipt to customer service for a refund.

My store had this promo, but details were a bit different. Boxes (except asparagus) were on sale for $1.50 (instead of $1.75). They had marked through the Buy "7" and changed it to buy "9". Just wanted to make others aware, had I only purchased 7 the deal would not have worked since the boxes were on sale at my store.
