My HT had several carts of clearance items this week. Osteo Bi-Flex was marked down to $9.48. Use the $5.00/1 Q + $5.00/1 ZVR = FREE!!!!

I knew the ZVR wouldn't come off on it's own since it was an HBA markdown so I brought it to the cashier's attention at the beginning of the trans. She called over a CSM and he hand keyed it in after I showed it to him on my phone (only $4.48 since no overage is allowed). So, woohoo I get to try this stuff for FREE!!!!!! I have a knee and an elbow that bothers me frequently, so hope this helps.

Edit: I wasn't sure if they were marked down because of exp., but the dates are in 2014. I would have gotten a few more for $4.48 each after $5.00/1 Q, but I didn't want to be a hog!

There were 3 carts full of vitamins (Osteo, Nature's Bounty, Nature Made) at my store for the past two days, when I went back this morning it was all GONE! ugh, I wanted to get the Osteo for my mom and COQ10 for me for $3.99. I think my store only keeps those for 2 days then they're shipped off to somewhere...

HBA = Health/Beauty Aids. The items don't ring up as the actual item, it scans as HBA Markdown, so the computer can't tell you bought the item to take the ZVR off. That's why I let the cashier know ahead of time, so I could get someone to do it manually. The only reason I figured that would happen was because last week I bought some Head & Shoulders that were in the markdowns and used a BOGO Q, and they had to manually key it in because the computer wouldn't accept it since it scanned as HBA Markdown instead of Head & Shoulders.

that's why I don't like the way HT does clearance. They put a yellow sticky over the product barcode and hence the ZVR does not come off plus the MFR Q would not scan... so make sure you have a friendly cashier and friendly store

I know, I have one store here where I always have to fight to be able to even use a q on an clearance item - needless to say I try to avoid shopping at that location.

I found the carts! They were all the front entrance at my store, by the carts and baskets. However, I was still not able to buy it. I told my young cashier that I have a ZVR for this and it may not come off because it has a clearance tag. So he calls in one of the managers and he inputs the ZVR as a $5 coupon, rendering my $5/1 IP useless =P And because I wanted to get it for free, I decided to just cancel it and rebuy later. I'll probably just go to CS and have them take the $5 ZVR off, that is, if they still have it.
