| I totally agree! I still compare prices to other stores, but I usually end up getting all my produce from there. It's a limited selection but they have awesome prices. The prices on frozen fruit and frozen fish are pretty awesome too!

Anyway, I figured I might as well go see, and lo and behold - our Aldi's is da bomb! The quality of the produce at our Aldi's definitely holds up against that of other grocery retailers like HT and FL, and definitely beats Walmart (icky). They've also added a few items to their selection that they haven't had previously at our store (the kiwi, for example) so that's a bonus. If the produce quality started going down, I'd likely cross Aldi's off my list, as that's pretty much all I buy there, aside from the stray bottle of Winking Owl Merlot.

Other than smart balance milk, looks like I'll be sitting this one out.

| I have 2 Aldi's around me and while the produce is not always the prettiest...it has always been been consistently good. I don't have the issue with it spoiling quickly that others have reported. I have only bought one thing from there that was yuck and it was quite a while back.. a bag of oranges that were not sweet. I rarely buy produce from anywhere else now. I can't do that Winking Owl merlot that LadySiren mentioned!!! It was way too dry for me.
