I have never been able to freeze them correctly. They also turn soggy when they thaw. I even blanch them and them freeze them.... still no luck.

That was going to be my guess as to what would happen if you froze them. I may get some and bake them into a quiche though - I have 5 1/2 dozen eggs I have to do something with.

YOu can freeze the eggs (I had 12 dozen before easter) - but you have to crack them, break up the egg, but then they can be frozen in ice cubes trays for baking etc -

I've heard that people do that, never tried it. I don't think I have room in my freezer for ice cube trays at the moment though. I'll have to see if I can rearrange things a little. Thanks for the idea. ETA ~ OMG 12 dozen?

That's the second time I've done that deal...first being yesterday! Love doubles!! This is the first time I've ever lived somewhere with a grocery store that doubles...so I'm in heaven!

I understand the cereal, but I have .75 qs for the tea but they were about $1 ea. How did you have such a great trip?

Sorry, I just saw this post and had to add that there's a great deal on the handheld Foodsaver system at Walmart. There's a $10 coupon on coupons.com right now for ANY foodsaver system, and the handheld (which got very good reviews on Walmart's website, great for daily use) is regular price $19.44 - $19.99 depending on your Walmart, makes them as cheap as $9.44 for a great system!

I know that HT accepts competitor's $/$$ coupons, but not sure this would qualify. Has anybody tried this? TIA!

I can't use any competitor's coupon that's printed off the internet...or any IP that says "FREE" at my HT.

My HT won't take that q - only competitors q's they accept are for $/$$ purchase and they can't be IPs - plus they don't accept any IP with the word "FREE" on it - even if it requires a purchase.

.75 off of a tea that costs $1 would make them free after the q doubles.
