I had such a fabulous trip to a few Harris Teeters today after my internship. I picked up lots of Bertolli, I too did not notice the wording and used as many as 5 in a transaction. I also found some of the Philly Indulgence and bought 5. I told the cashier I knew only 3 coupons would double (since that is their policy with double Q's) but that I wanted the products anyway since .25 ea is still a deal. He scanned all of the Q's and they doubled automatically. I honestly thought the computer was programmed to not double after 3 but all 5 doubled. I said as much and he said since they doubled he would let it go. Finally, at the last store (close to where I was meeting my mom) I picked up a few items and on the way out of the store there was a guy set up with a table and laptop signing people up for eVIC emails. I had just shopped for my mother and she does not get their emails so I signed her up. In return I received a $5 HT gift card and 5 coupons for $2 off HT paper towels. All in all, a fabulous day at HT (even though each store was out of at least 1 item I was looking for - at least there are RC's!).

Can you use the Recyclebank 10/50.00 q if the total comes out to $50.00 or more before other q's are deducted?

You're not supposed to. In my case, my OOP after MQ's was 3.17 then I added the $50 GC - 10/50 RB q = 43.17. Hope that makes sense

I just had the best HT trip I think I've ever had- started off with buying 2 $50 GCs and rolling the first into the second with RB coups so OOP was $40 and then I bought
1 gallon milk
2 glad trash bags 40 ct
2 gain detergent
2 vanilla extracts 1oz
3 packs of chicken breast
1 Apple Juice for a ridiculous amount of money but my son can't survive wtih out it apparently

1 pack of precooked chicken for the hub for lunch (he only got it because it had a dollar off peelie on it!)

2 doz eggs (kicking myself for not using the 55/2 coupon)

Used the GC I bought when I went into the store to pay- total was $40 and change so I still have $20 on my GC! Essentially paying $20 for ALL OF THAT! And the best part was that I actually needed every single item I'm so happy.
OOS on Tuna so I'm hitting another store later today to use my Mom's card for more trash bags and gain. Tomorrow I have every intention of going to HT strictly to get a rain check for the SB milk that will no doubt be OOS. I'd rather have a RC than the milk right now honestly!

Darn, it seems I missed another coupon event. I was too busy having a baby! Mason was born 3/18, 8lb 9.2oz, 21 in. I had an epidural with my daughter, but had to go natural with my son b/c he came so fast. He felt like 20 lbs! I sure missed thedrugs! Anyway, we're all doing well and I just wanted to share the happy news of my early Easter present with my couponing friends. Sorry to go off topic.

I found $2 Beef WT's at the first HT - of course as usualy they put them out right before they expire tomorrow. Anyway, I took them to Kroger where the sale price is $6.99 on Ribeyes instead of the $11.99 price tag at HT. Plus I scored 2 rolls of Brawny papertowels for free at Kroger and BC Au Gratin potatoes for .50 a box.

The news this morning said that some major grocery store chains are going to stop doubling altogether and they mentioned Kroger as one of them (I think they are all the Kroger family stores) - so far ours is still doubling. I hope HT doesn't decide to go that route!
