Finally been able to get Kikkoman Panko finally at Harristeeter by High house road at Cary. for second trip went to one by the High way 55 as it was only few minutes drive. Just a bad decision, was there for the first time and found place badly staffed and empty too. Also for the first time, out of 8 trips during this triple coupon week, found only 18 coupons were scanned instead of 20. OOP was 11, should have been less than 8.

Left at 6am this morning for the last day of triples. As I was leaving home I noticed my Sunday papers - delivered two days late with a sweet note. I had called yesterday to report not receiving my papers and having to go to the gas station to buy them and they credited me for another week. I was up Sunday morning at 5:30 looking for the paper so I could get to HT first thing and the man I talked to didn't seem to think it was any big deal but apparently he did or at least the carrier did - I am impressed! I was able to use 18 cpns from the three Sunday papers to get $53.58 worth of items for $3.83. I actually cut the cpns out at the store. I was the only customer in the store. And even though they restock Monday nights nothing I had actually gone to get was there - couldn't get over how many shelves were empty. I guess the items that were free and/or cheap from Sunday's cpns did get restocked or just never were emptied otherwise it would have been a wasted trip, instead it was one of my best for this event!

Made my last run today and it was the most irritating trip ever. There were so many bare shelves, it wasn't funny. It looks like a lot of items never got restocked (or if they did, they went OOS very fast). The Mardi Gras napkins went OOS on Day 1 and I never saw any for the duration of the event. Other OOS items: Promised Land milk, Trix yogurt, Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls, Rhodes rolls, Hillshire Farms sausages, Perfect Pinch seasoning, Scrubbing Bubbles cleaners, pretty much anything with "Dole" on the front, Suave deodorant, Quaker cookies and bars, Coffee-Mate creamer, Minute Maid OJ...and that's just the ones off the top of my head. I really love HT for running coupon events but I wish they'd keep an eye on stock levels a bit more. ![]() As a result, my trip today was a piddly thing; I didn't even get to use a full 20. I did splurge on a couple of non-q items and got a pack of cigarettes (yes, I know...bad for me but I had a $.50/1 coupon!!!) and that pushed my total up just a bit. I did finally get the Wisk with my evic RC and four dozen eggs for our upcoming Easter cookout this weekend. 2x Cookie Crisp cereal 2x Sunny Delight 2x Wisk 2x Fleischman's no-knead bread mix 4x 1-dozen eggs 2x Mini-Sweet Tarts 1x pack Marlboros 1x Entemann's (sp?) donuts for DH 6x HT donuts for me (no, I'm not eating them all in one sitting, I swear) 1x Sister Schubert's rolls 2x Blue Bunny ice cream 1x Lucky Charm Treats OOP: $38.12 evics / ZVRs / q's: $34.19 |

Any smokers out there, there were a LOT of single packs of random smokes in the clearance cart. It made me laugh to see them. Must have been 100 packs. Sorry, didn't get the amounts.
