Hi Everyone,

I just got back from my local HT. I bought 6 crescent rolls and 2 cinnamon rolls and was expecting to get the $5 ONYO. I did not get one and I went to customer service who said that the offer is only valid on the mini sizes?

The ad at my store did not have any of the GM promo's so no way to verify anything.

I'm going to call the Catalina company but was curious if anyone else was able to get this deal to work?

I think it's because you need to buy 15 items to get the cat.

I should have started a new thread, but I was in a hurry and posted about this under matchups. I purchased 16 items (all of which had the requisite sign under them) and no cat. They gave me cash and were going to work on the problem.

In my experience, whenever they have these deals, it takes half a day to work out the bugs. They never seem to ring up first thing in the morning on the day the sale starts, so I wait until the second day(or until I see on here it's working!)

Thanks everyone, I had used a match up from another site that read $15 worth not 15 items so now I know and will go back later in the week to get the other 7 items. At least it tracks it for you so you don't have to purchase all 15 items at once.

If you read the flyer I posted the link to - it states "Products must be purchased in a single shopping trip between 2/15/12 and 2/21/12, with Vic card."

I went to ht this morning and it's tracking on my receipt saying I bought 3 gm out of the 15 -- maybe it doesn't have to b all on a receipt ? I only purchased 3 items from the promotion

I bought 16 items and at the bottom of my receipt it says, "Present your VIC card and save $5 off your next purchase of $5 or more thru 2/28/12. Limit 1 per transaction."
Also - if you look at the signage by the included items, it say it is an electronic savings.
The $5 is put on your VIC card, not printed as a catalina.

The HT in NOVA off Rt. 50/7100 in Fairfax, VA is misinterpreting the coupons to pretty much eliminate the ability to get the catalinas.

I got 3 croissants, 3 sweet rolls, and 3 pizza crusts from Pillsbury all with coupons relevant (3 croissant coupons, 3 sweet roll coupons, 3 pizza crust coupons) and they said that "like" items meant sold by the same company! WHAT??? I used 3 different kind of manu qs on 3 different products (3 each) all within the scope of the rules. She said because I was new to couponing that she'd accept them but rang them up as general merchandise at the dollar value so I missed out...all because she was doing ME a favor. BOO!

Actually I believe their coupon rules do say 3 like per manufacturer ~ I've never seen it enforced that way but I do think it says that. I'm going to go look.

Nope, I'm wrong. Here's what it says

We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value. Like items include all flavors.

I guess they can interpert the Pillsbury bread products to all be variations of 'flavor?" I've never had that happen. I'd shop a different store if you have that option.

Fiber one bars 2.00/4 e-vic didn't work yesterday. The signs were up so they refunded 2.00 to me.

I bought 4 boxes, and it came off fine... but, on the receipt, it came off immediatly after the items were rung up... not at the bottom where I was looking :-)

Yea, I always check the whole receipt and the "online savings (ZVR) today" line at the bottom. Neither of mine came off.

Thanks for checking, a second set of eyes doesn't hurt. It's the pizza canister. I was fortunate they let their rigid interpretation slide but it cost me a cat. Yes, it's Pender. It was on my route but I will use Reston from now on.
