Yea, but last year the last event was a SD's too - that didn't match up this year either. As usual I think I'll just hold on and wait for ad confirmation ~ as I always say.....show me the ad facts!

Yes, SDs and triples are not consistent, but the event dates are.

That is an absolute truth!!! even back in 2010 they had a super double event on April 27th, so the poster has a good guess on this one also

One of my favorite HT employees who told me about triples last month, told me that Super Doubles were coming in 2 weeks. She told me last night, so I'm not certain if she means the week of the 18th or the following week, but she has always been very reliable.

If SD was next week, it would have been confirmed by now by an ad leak or a friendly CSR or manager. It is probably the 25th.

Saw in the Lowes Food thread a picture of part of an ad that seems to confirm SDs starting 4/18 there. Last time LF ran their SD the week before HT so it may be the same way this time.

Not a dumb question at all! Triples is when HT triples coupons up to 99cents. For example, a 75cents off coupon becomes $2.25 off! Super Doubles is where HT doubles coupons up to $1.98 in value. A common example is the $1.50 off coupon, where it becomes $3 off. HTH

Which blog was that? I searched all the blogs and didn't find that. Found a couple where they claimed they had "confirmation" of SDs but didn't see the one where they have the actual ad.

I have seen a copy of next weeks ad in person. I can confirm it says in big letters week of 18-24th is Super Doubles.
