Drats, I forgot the McCains. ![]() I did a large trip to get lots of veggies and a couple of chickens and other things we needed that I didn't have q's for, like dog food. I wanted to use a $10/$40. I also picked up a couple more cans of the Mario ripe sliced olives. I lucked out and found a few $2 off speciality cheese WT's - they're just putting them out and they expire 10/4, go figure.

Wow, looks like NO ONE is shopping at HT this week. I'm really hoping to get a great e-Vic email tomorrow morning. I def. want to do the meal deal. DH is coming home tomorrow (working in Durham. NC) and picking up DD in eastern NC on his way. Meal deal will be quick since I'm unsure of their arrival time |

I'm waiting for the Friday E-vic email, too and to see if I get my Cooked Perfect coupons in the mail by Tuesday to get the meal deal. I emailed them and got a personal email back two days ago that they were sending me some coupons. Score! Anyway...not much to rush in for except the chickens. But I'd rather just take a couple trips instead of one every day. |

! I'm going to start stocking up on light bulbs too. I know the old one's are supposedly NOT environmentally friendly, but either is disposing of the new ones. You can't just throw them out. What ever happened to the good old days |

And yes, that is a lot of chicken But we eat chicken at least 2 times a week some weeks as many as 4 times. I was really disappointed in my fried chicken today - it was burnt and so overcooked it was like shoe leather. I'm planning on feeding it to the stray kittens that someone dumped off in our neighborhood last week. Jerks. - oh, I gave them a whole Rotisserie Chicken on Sunday and they carted off the entire bird!

That article was INSANE! I have yet to buy a CFL and hopefully they'll come out with something else before they try to force us to use them. Can't you just imagine the 'disposal fee' we'll get stuck paying for those stupid things. I hear candlelight works well |
