Oh, how I wish! We only have 1 HT here in town and the next closest is probably 70 miles away. During this past week's triples or during any Super Doubles, product is extremely hard to come by. The aisles are packed everyday with carts and everyone with their binders. I get so jealous of everyone's good deals. I never luck out. I get so frustrated I want to just quit. It is no longer fun. How I wish I lived in the Charlotte area where maybe I might have more luck. I don't care if I go several times during the week, stock is always gone. I don't even bother to ask for RC's because the list would be too long. I am so over it!!!

I know how you feel, my closest HT is 25miles away and the next one is over 55miles from me, it sucks, i wish they would put one in the next town over that is growning very fast.

I understand how you feel. There is only one HT where I currently live in New Bern NC. The next closest one is 45 minutes away in Morehead City. The New Bern location is always picked through during triples and SD's. I only went twice during the last triples because it wasn't worth it to me. Looking forward to the day I move back to Cary, NC where there are 5-6 Harris Teeters within 20minutes of one another.

hah! we must shop at the same harris teeter..i see your location in florence,sc. SO IS MINE! for me, i have found when i shop late at night i am able to get what i need because they have put stock out. anyways, its very frustrating when greed takes over people and they have to take ALL of something at one time. like do you really need all 10 boxes of cake mix tonight? good luck!

So, how late at night do you shop? Maybe that's what I should do. I just feel as if it is not worth the trouble to shop Triples or Super Doubles because of all of the carts blocking the lanes. Went late yesterday afternoon and the place was in complete dissary.

I am fortunate to live in the Charlotte area but work full time so I can't go early in the mornings but I have found that some stores do stock in the evenings as well. I would say 7:00 or later but I really think it depends on how busy the store is. Even with 3 stores close by some stuff NEVER gets restocked. For example, the land o lakes cinnamon butter I wanted to try this go around had room for about 12 on the shelf and I don't think they were ever restocked this past week.

My town only has 1 HT.The next nearest HT is about 45 minutes away.They are starting to build a new HT next to my house but,it will be at least a yr before it opens.

I don't think it matters if you have 1 or 8 in your area, I have 8 and the shelves were cleared every day. I couldn't believe it. even items that were still 2.00-3.00 after coupons were cleared off the shelves.

Yea, I shop at 5 HT's and the hot items sell out in all of them, like pgibb said. You just end up driving around town wasting gas and getting more frustrated when you have more stores to choose from.

It sounds like we live in the same town. I have noticed that it has become harder and harder to get anything during SD or Triples unless you want to go shopping in the middle of the night (and even then some things are still out). I honestly feel sorry for the night crew that stocks because people have figured out that if they go when they are working they have a better chance of getting items. But, some of these people are down right rude to these employees expecting them to stop every other minute to look for what they want instead of just giving them the chance to get it on the shelf (I have personally seen this on several occasions).

I keep thinking that it will be nice when they get the other HT built in my town but I honestly do not think it will make much of a difference. There are so many people that try to get around the system by having multiple VIC cards that they will just straight from one store to the other. But, it will be a little closer to my house so that is a plus.

I think it is unfair to other shoppers when people shop with multiple vic cards during bonus coupon weeks. Those greedy shoppers are the ones who cause there to be little/no stock for everyone else.

Another thing I noticed about having only one HT in town is that it takes the store a while to get NEW products in. Alot of times I will have a coupon for a new product/specific flavor yet the rural stores do not offer that product. Oh well.
