I asked about this too in a different post. I was told the same by my cashier.

I was just at HT on Saturday and they accepted all my internet Q's....and the manager was standing there, observing the girl's training, so I dunno.... maybe just your store isn't taking them anymore. but with the influx in internet Q's, stores are going to have to train and learn what are fake and what aren't....

The manager took all my internet Q's as well...may be a YMMV. In fact, mine takes Target internet Q's. They just say no FREE internet Q's.

My HT wouldn't take the Silk coupon on AFC, asked where I got it, said no exp. date. I told him Target accepts it. He then said they don't take IP coupons over .99. He said it was a HT policy. I don't know. I believe I have used $1 and $1.50 coupons there that were printed in the past. Anyway, just wondering. About the 20/day - did anyone have issues with this during the triples?

GG-nah. I used 20 at one store and then jumped to another store and used 20. went to the one by my house in the morning and went back to the same one later that night when i knew there was a fresh new crop of cashiers. they aren't as advanced yet as to detect with your VIC card if you've used x amount of coupons at HT's or anything like that yet....but scary if they did that in the future!

I used three SilkSoy Q's there on the 12th and other IP's.....same store, same town as you!! No ??'s asked! As far as the 20Q per day thing, it's like CVS supposedly checking Q's per card......they just aren't set up to do that yet. ![]() |

No issue with my stores taking any Qs -even that crazy soy milk printable. I even had 3 transactions last week during the same visit because of Qs. My brother in law is over the VIC program for the southeast and keeps me well informed of any changes but hasn't mentioned this. I will be giving him a call tonight!

Well, when it wouldn't scan (beeped) she called the manager (great big fellow) and he couldn't get it to key in, he examined it and saw no exp date, and asked where I got it. Then went on to say they didn't........ So I just paid for my Silk, smiled, and left. I've used it at Target since then with no problem. ![]() Hey 1cooper..... maybe they look at you and see you're a no nonsense lady and they simply back off. I guess I have a look that says, "I'll do whatever you say..... " Honestly, it wouldn't ring. I had it printed at best quality and in color, too.

Like I've said before, some can, some can't!! LyndaSLP has no problems at all at "the dreaded CVS" store in my area. I walk in and they immediately page Security (Mgr). So, some do, some don't, some will, some won't and some might. I don't push anything having to do with coupons and am just tickled at anything I can get! ![]() Last edited by CarolynC; 01-18-2008 at 03:36 PM. |

OK -- I can give you insight on the Silk coupon GG. HT's internet printable policy is "if it scans, we will take it". Thus, since yours wouldn't scan, HT had every right to NOT take it. They also will not take internet printables that state "good for free item" As for the "20 coupons per day per household" --- well, that is NOT being enforced via your VIC card. Your VIC card will still allow you to do 5 transactions per day, doubling 20 coupons each transaction. IMHO: It'd be a PITA to re-program the system to only double 20 coupons per day per household. Big hassle. And, truly not worth the time or $$ involved. Why? B/c smart people like me are just going to request more cards - in relatives' names and addresses.

Carolyn - seems like we're shopping the same way. I like to praise and I appreciate all the assists I get with coupons. I don't scream "foul" or anything. I just wish it had scanned. But since it didn't I simply let it go and don't try it again.
