Not sure if this has been posted, but just wanted to let everyone know that if you got the Kraft Big Slice tearpad coupons, they start with a 9. I noticed that 2 of my coupons didn't double today and those were the culprits!

Normally if you find any TP or Blinkie q's at HT they will start with a 9. Look for them at other chains like Kroger and Foodlion and they almost always start with a 5.

My daughter and I went to HT around 6:45 am yesterday and already the Dannonino's, were all gone. There were 4 bounty napkins left so I grabbed those and only 2 Tom's Maine soap bars so I grabbed those as well. Plenty of SB milk so I got in on that deal, but I was still shocked at how much stuff was already gone. We went again this morning to another HT hoping to get napkins and soap, what a waste of time. Shelves were empty! (I should have known better..hahaha) I was at my regular HT again this afternoon and the clerk told me a truck is coming in tonight and the shelves should be restocked by tomorrow morning. I told my daughter I want us there by 6:00-6:15 to see if that makes any difference. I'm like, how early do you have to get to the store in order to get what you want?

Whew, I had a hard time finding 20 items to use my 20 q's on today. Lots of stuff was cleaned out and the store was full of people with binders (a couple of them were blocking the aisles and not paying any attention that people were trying to get by them ~ so annoying! Another had her phone shoved in her ear and almost ran over me with her cart when she took a sudden left hand turn in front of me ~ grrr) Anyway, here's what I managed to get. Trip #2. Store was wiped of so much that I don't even care to get into it. The positive side is that they did have the SB milk. I decided to do my big trip today and refocus on getting the cheap and free stuff later.... I think that Thurs and Tues are the worst days to shop there due to stock. Ditto for my Harris Teeter as well, none of the items were at my store either mentioned above. My order was so messed up today that I don't even know if it ended up being correct or not. Some of my coupons wouldn't double (they did not say DO NOT DOUBLE/TRIPLE and didn't have 9's on them). The cashier said it must be because I came an hour earlier than I did yesterday so that's why it wouldn't double some of them. I guess I need to make sure I go there after 1:30 pm tomorrow so my coupons will double. I've never run across that happening before and another lady had the same problem. Does anyone know if you have to go exactly 24 hours or more later to get your coupons to double? I apparantly went around 1:30 pm yesterday but checked out around 12:15 pm today so it messed everything up and I didn't get to use all my coupons and couldn't wait until after 1:30 since I had to get the kids so my husband could go to work. |

| A woman told me I was "Sweet" today
Day 2. My store had the SB milk and Johnsonville chicken sausage today. No sign of Reynolds foil or Planters nut bars.I think I'll get a raincheck for the Hungry jack syrup/pancake mix since my coupons don't expire until 7/31. 2 Hefty zip bags 2/2.89 - 1.00/2 = 2/0.89 3 Hidden valley ranch salad kit 3/6.00 - 3 x 1.00/1 = Free 1 Honest tea 1.11 - 0.50/1 = 0.11 3 Smart balance milk 3/11.97 - 3 x 1.50 = 3/2.97 1 Johnsonville chicken sausage 2.99 - 1.00/1 = 0.99 1 Hartz crunch and clean biscuit 3.55 - 1.00/1 = 1.55 + money back guarantee MIR Total saved 30.94 OOP = 7.24 MIR - 3.55 Final OOP = 3.69 When I got to the milk, a woman saw I was getting 3 and commented that I must like that milk too. I agreed and said "Especially with coupons." She said that she had 1 coupon. Since I had several, I offered her 2 more. She kept telling me how sweet it was of me to give her coupons. She got 3, I got 3 and I still have 2 or 3 coupons left. |
