I woke up this morning at 5:00am grinning from ear to ear looking forward to SD. 6am I hop in my car, turn the key, and….NOTHING. OMG NOOOOOO. My DH left the lights on and my battery died. I grabbed my portable battery jump….nothing. Dead. I have no jumper cables and it is too early to ask a neighbor. At this moment I am so mad I want to cry. My DH was like ‘what’s wrong?” Almost crying I say “Its SD and I am going to miss EVERYTHING’ Luckily one of my neighbors is an early riser and we were able to get a jump. At this point its 8am. So I was sure I was going to miss everything. It was not bad the only thing I missed were the Hormel and Bounty Napkins. Neither of which I was pressed to get. I stocked up on napkins last time and I have never had the Hormel but I bet its good. DH and I scored:
8 Kraft Dressing
4 Reynolds Foil
6 Franks Hot Sauce
4 Pasta Noodles
4 Breakstone Sour Cream
4 Webber Seasoning (someone said it’s a DND but my store doubled it maybe i have a diffrent Q)
Final Price: $10.88
Hope your shopping trips are less stressful than mine.
There are at least 3 different Weber TP q's out there. The ones I got from Kroger and from FL are '5's the ones from HT are 9's and they're different amounts too I know the FL one is only .35 and the Kroger one is .55 - I think the HT one is .55 as well. Weird.
OH, and sorry about your car. I feel your pain. During triples my gas line on my car was cut - I lost a whole tank of gasoline and missed 4 days of triples.
I stopped by Bi-Lo before I went to Harris Teeter because I wanted to see if they finally had the Smart Balance milk in stock (I had a rain check to get it for $2 a container) and they finally did at the second one I went to. I got 3 of them and used my $1.50 off one coupons (one expired today) and got it cheaper than I would have at Harris Teeter.
I got to Harris Teeter and they had tons of Smart Balance milk at ours and it looked like no one was buying it.
By the time I got there they were already out of the Bounty napkins, Reynold's aluminum foil, Danamino's yogurt, nd the regular Hungry Jack pancake mix (I bought the whole wheat version instead which is what I prefer but the kids are picky). Other things may have been out of stock but I looked for specific things and not all the good deals.
I got at Harris Teeter on my first day of super doubles:
Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats - (3)
Hidden Valley Ranch Kits (2)
Hungry Jack pancake mix (3)
Oreo Frosting (2)
Kahiki Sweet N' Sour Chicken (large package was marked down to $5 something) (1)
Kettle Chips (3)
Sara Lee Pound Cake (1)
Danimal's Crush Cup Yogurt (1)
Danimal's Smoothie yogurt (1)
Pepperidge Farm cheese crackers (1)
Fructis styling product (1)
Johnsonville chicken sausage (only apple was left) (1)
It was $67 or so before coupons and $6.65 after E-coupons and coupons.

Okay, 2 stores - the breakstones dips were cleaned out at one store, both stores were out of the Bounty napkins and the Atheno's yogurt. Other than that I'm pretty happy. I didn't even leave the house until after noon. They did miss 2 coupons on my first order and I haven't sat down to try to figure out which ones, but that is at least a $4 error - I really hate when that happens. grrr
4 Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaners BOGO price $1.49 ea - $1/2 IP = .49 ea
I got off to a slow start this morning. Normally I am at the store at 7. Today I did not make it until after lunch. I don't have my receipt handy so I will try to remember. I really wanted the Johnsonville Chicken Sausage and they were out.
2 Muellers Spaghetti
3 Sun Drops
1 Weber Seasoning
1 Hidden Valley Ranch Kit
1 Toms Soap
1 Sunsweet D'noir Prunes
3 Dr. Pepper
3 Lance Cracker Creations
I paid about $2
I have to be honest. I would much rather deal with the only one coupon for B1G1, than the not taking DND.

Figured at around $3.50 for each pizza, it was a decent deal. Not the cheapest I've gotten pizza, but we are picky with brands.

I went at 10 am and like usual had very little "competition" The Oreo Icing was OOS and I got the last Smores one but the shelf only had space for 3 or 4 each. I used my Bounty coupon + ZVR for free napkins a few days after it came out, so I didnt peek at those.
I made it out today I have combined 2 different trips, used 19 coupons. I freaked out at the second HT because I didn't see my coupons in my purse and my DD (3) said, you left them in the car on the front seat. (She was right, that is exactly where I left them, had to put stuff back run out and get them get all the stuff again and then check out, whew!!)
I found 2 things that had TMF MIR so I had to do one by itself to get 2 receipts. Actually, I still have 1 more MIR to do, but asking for 3 transactions may have been asking too much. I didn't go until about 10am. I'm not a Black Friday shopper, and really don't want to be in the 7am madness. And I'm not a morning person.
Old El Paso stuffers meal kit 3.69 - 1.00/1 Sunday insert = 1.69 + TMF MIR
2 Hefty Cups 2/3.39 - 1.00/2 tearpad = 2/1.39
2 Doritos 2/3.99 - 1.00/2 tearpad = 2/1.99
3 Hormel compleats kids 3.00 - 3 x 1.00/1 Sunday insert = Free
1 Kellog's Mini wheats fruit in the middle 1.99 - 1.00/1 tearpad = Free + TMF MIR on package
2 Mentos gum 2/3.00 - 2 x 1.00/1 tearpad = Free
1 Snyder's of Hanover pretzel sandwiches 3.19 - 1.00/1 Sunday paper = 1.19 + 0.50 saving star credit
1 Kettle Chips 1.84 - 1.00/1 Sunday paper = Free
1 Kahiki Egg rolls 2.12 - 1.00 Sunday paper = 0.12
2 Digiorno Stuffed crust pizza single 2/6.67 - 2 x 1.00 blinkie = 2/2.67
1 Yocrunch fruit parfait 2.50 - 1.00/1 ip = 0.50
Total saved 44.49
Total Oop = 10.40
MIR 's - 5.68
Final cost 4.72 (1.06 tax)

I was at this store with you first thing this morning. I too noticed a lot of NEW faces. I've been doing this faithfully for over 2 years now. Hoping they will restock so I can get more deals. The Pepsi man told me it looked like Black Friday. LOL
Hey. Do I know you personally?
No, I don't think so. I just meant I was at the Salisbury store first thing this morning.

So my DH and I were out and about this afternoon and he pulled into the HT parking lot. I was SHOCKED.. he hates going to the grocery store.. But he knew I had 5 cpn's left for my 20 a day limit so in we went
Of course he picked up some beer, hamburger meat and something else I didn't have a cpn for but hey, he took me there..
So my 2nd trip not as great as my first.. I noticed just about EVERYTHING was gone -- no reynolds wrap, no icing, still no johnsonville sausages, no napkins, no philly cooking cream.. I really wanted to get some Fancy Feast and did they have the kind my cat eats.. nope.. shelf was half cleared! Crazy!
So here is what I ended up with:
1 Cutter Pen - $1.50/1 - Free
2 6pks Deer Park Sport $1/2 - $2.00
2 Lysol Wipes (because my DH "needs" them for work - Had to get him something for taking me..haha) - $4.00
10 Yoplait $1.00/10 + .40 ZVR - $3.60
Not too bad. Will try again tomorrow

Just got back from trip #2. I went to the HT that's up in the suburbs (I live in downtown Charlottesville and usually to the HT down here). I think the coupon people live up there...lots of cleared shelves!
My coupon items:
1 Mueller's Pasta - $1 - .55/1 (FREE)
1 Hidden Valley Salad Kit - $2 - $1/1 (FREE)
1 Alexia baguette - $2.50 - $1/1
1 dozen HT eggs - .77
1 Buittoni pasta - $2.89 - $1/1 (would have paid just over $2 if I stopped here)
