OH, and sorry about your car. I feel your pain. During triples my gas line on my car was cut - I lost a whole tank of gasoline and missed 4 days of triples.

I stopped by Bi-Lo before I went to Harris Teeter because I wanted to see if they finally had the Smart Balance milk in stock (I had a rain check to get it for $2 a container) and they finally did at the second one I went to. I got 3 of them and used my $1.50 off one coupons (one expired today) and got it cheaper than I would have at Harris Teeter. I got to Harris Teeter and they had tons of Smart Balance milk at ours and it looked like no one was buying it. By the time I got there they were already out of the Bounty napkins, Reynold's aluminum foil, Danamino's yogurt, nd the regular Hungry Jack pancake mix (I bought the whole wheat version instead which is what I prefer but the kids are picky). Other things may have been out of stock but I looked for specific things and not all the good deals. I got at Harris Teeter on my first day of super doubles: Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats - (3) Hidden Valley Ranch Kits (2) Hungry Jack pancake mix (3) Oreo Frosting (2) Kahiki Sweet N' Sour Chicken (large package was marked down to $5 something) (1) Kettle Chips (3) Sara Lee Pound Cake (1) Danimal's Crush Cup Yogurt (1) Danimal's Smoothie yogurt (1) Pepperidge Farm cheese crackers (1) Fructis styling product (1) Johnsonville chicken sausage (only apple was left) (1) It was $67 or so before coupons and $6.65 after E-coupons and coupons. |

I got off to a slow start this morning. Normally I am at the store at 7. Today I did not make it until after lunch. I don't have my receipt handy so I will try to remember. I really wanted the Johnsonville Chicken Sausage and they were out. 2 Muellers Spaghetti 3 Sun Drops 1 Weber Seasoning 1 Hidden Valley Ranch Kit 1 Toms Soap 1 Sunsweet D'noir Prunes 3 Dr. Pepper 3 Lance Cracker Creations I paid about $2 I have to be honest. I would much rather deal with the only one coupon for B1G1, than the not taking DND.

I found 2 things that had TMF MIR so I had to do one by itself to get 2 receipts. Actually, I still have 1 more MIR to do, but asking for 3 transactions may have been asking too much. I didn't go until about 10am. I'm not a Black Friday shopper, and really don't want to be in the 7am madness. And I'm not a morning person. ![]() Trans 1: Old El Paso stuffers meal kit 3.69 - 1.00/1 Sunday insert = 1.69 + TMF MIR Trans 2: 2 Hefty Cups 2/3.39 - 1.00/2 tearpad = 2/1.39 2 Doritos 2/3.99 - 1.00/2 tearpad = 2/1.99 3 Hormel compleats kids 3.00 - 3 x 1.00/1 Sunday insert = Free 1 Kellog's Mini wheats fruit in the middle 1.99 - 1.00/1 tearpad = Free + TMF MIR on package 2 Mentos gum 2/3.00 - 2 x 1.00/1 tearpad = Free 1 Snyder's of Hanover pretzel sandwiches 3.19 - 1.00/1 Sunday paper = 1.19 + 0.50 saving star credit 1 Kettle Chips 1.84 - 1.00/1 Sunday paper = Free 1 Kahiki Egg rolls 2.12 - 1.00 Sunday paper = 0.12 2 Digiorno Stuffed crust pizza single 2/6.67 - 2 x 1.00 blinkie = 2/2.67 1 Yocrunch fruit parfait 2.50 - 1.00/1 ip = 0.50 Total saved 44.49 Total Oop = 10.40 MIR 's - 5.68 Final cost 4.72 (1.06 tax) Last edited by lms28023; 06-22-2011 at 04:47 PM. |

So my DH and I were out and about this afternoon and he pulled into the HT parking lot. I was SHOCKED.. he hates going to the grocery store.. But he knew I had 5 cpn's left for my 20 a day limit so in we went ![]() Of course he picked up some beer, hamburger meat and something else I didn't have a cpn for but hey, he took me there.. ![]() So my 2nd trip not as great as my first.. I noticed just about EVERYTHING was gone -- no reynolds wrap, no icing, still no johnsonville sausages, no napkins, no philly cooking cream.. I really wanted to get some Fancy Feast and did they have the kind my cat eats.. nope.. shelf was half cleared! Crazy! So here is what I ended up with: 1 Cutter Pen - $1.50/1 - Free 2 6pks Deer Park Sport $1/2 - $2.00 2 Lysol Wipes (because my DH "needs" them for work - Had to get him something for taking me..haha) - $4.00 10 Yoplait $1.00/10 + .40 ZVR - $3.60 Not too bad. Will try again tomorrow

Just got back from trip #2. I went to the HT that's up in the suburbs (I live in downtown Charlottesville and usually to the HT down here).
