It's Super doubles, where they double coupons up to 1.98, lots of fun, you need to play , LOL

Super Doubles = SD

During SD’s HT will double up to $1.98 Qpon!!! Example: $1.50 is now $3.00 off! HT Super Double coupons means they will double all coupons $1.98 or less, up to 20 coupons per day per CARD. Darn that TLC...thanks to their show, my store was a zoo at 7 AM today. The checkout lines were snaking aback into the aisles by 7:10ish! Eeeeesh.

Most of what I wanted was still there, but the Magnum bars were still OOS (I have a BOGO RC plus three $1/1 q's). Hopefully, they'll get a bunch in with the next restock. Some items were OOS - the Danoninos (sp?), Kraft ranch dressing, and Rhodes rolls. On the Rhodes rolls, another couponer and I both wanted 'em but there were only two bags left. We agreed to share - she took one, I got the other. For the most part, it looks like my store's management has finally clued into the fact that anytime they run a coupon event, they'd better be prepared for shelves to be cleared.

My cashier was a hot mess today. I had a B2G3 RC for the Healthy Balance juice; one of my IPs scanned no problem, the other didn't. She refused to take that IP at first but relented when I told her to void all 10 of them if I couldn't use both q's (she ended up keying in the second IP). Then, I gave her a $1 off produce WYB two Kraft dressings. Although I explained - twice! - that the q should've only been for $2 off with SDs, she insisted on taking off $2.99 - the price of one bottle of dressing. Finally, when I handed her $42 to cover my $41 and change total, she miscounted and handed me back $1 and change. I tried to explain she'd given me too much change in return, but she gave me this "huh?" look so I just gave up.

ETA: I did use the $10/$50 RecycleBank q but I'm always pretty careful about making sure it's the last coupon I give 'em, so that I don't violate the "after coupons" rule. Had no problems at all with it.

Good for you! I did my first real trip as well and although the HT in DC does not carry many of the products I had q's for, I think I did okay too. My total was $131.94 and my OOP was $54.12.

It's $1/1 Oreo Ultimate Icing. There was also a coupon for $1/1 Hersheys Smores Icing in the same insert. I don't know the date-I cut all of my coupons.

My HT was really crowded this morning and store had not re-stocked on some items . There was a line of about 30 + people at the doors before they opened. There were a good bit of new faces . I am all about anyone saving money but I tell you I almost got hit by three different carts today and three women that was together hovered over all the Dan-O-Dino yogurt and the Breakstones Sour cream until they had them all that was left. Two women did get to grab one of the Dano yogurts by reaching in between them. I figured I would wait for another day ... I hope they become a little more courteous and I hope they are not there in the morning when I go ...

I woke up this morning at 5:00am grinning from ear to ear looking forward to SD. 6am I hop in my car, turn the key, and….NOTHING. OMG NOOOOOO. My DH left the lights on and my battery died. I grabbed my portable battery jump….nothing. Dead. I have no jumper cables and it is too early to ask a neighbor. At this moment I am so mad I want to cry. My DH was like ‘what’s wrong?” Almost crying I say “Its SD and I am going to miss EVERYTHING’ Luckily one of my neighbors is an early riser and we were able to get a jump. At this point its 8am. So I was sure I was going to miss everything. It was not bad the only thing I missed were the Hormel and Bounty Napkins. Neither of which I was pressed to get. I stocked up on napkins last time and I have never had the Hormel but I bet its good. DH and I scored:

Okay, 2 stores - the breakstones dips were cleaned out at one store, both stores were out of the Bounty napkins and the Atheno's yogurt. Other than that I'm pretty happy. I didn't even leave the house until after noon.
