Kind of sad that my store has higher prices than others. No free foil, no free tape, no free yogurt... and so on. Everything seems to be about .50 higher per item than in other places. BUT I still got some nice deals. 8 Reynolds foil 3 Tic Tac 1 Heinz Vinegar 2 Lysol toilet bowl cleaners 2 Weber seasonings 2 V8 fusion 1 Philly Cooking Cream Total OOP $9.58 |

I have never been to the one in Ghent or the one out at Greenbrier. I would think that the Greenbrier one would run out quickly too because I think some of the NC residents go there too

| It was very quiet. I saw 1 coupon binder and a few folks with coupons in hand but overall it was pretty dead. It was a huge store! They were out of the PF Baked Naturals and the Lance cracker thingys but they seemed to have everything else. I also tried the one around Oberlin/Glenwood. If DH would have patient I would have stayed to visit some of the Goodwills. No such luck though!!

My fourth trip: Bought: (2) Pert Plus- 2.27 each (1) Krucher chips- 2.50 (3) Smart Water 700 mL- 1.25 each (1) Frank's hot sauce (bogo, so half price)- .72 (1) HT shredded cheese (bogo, so half price)-1.39 Used coupons: (2) $1/1 Pert 3 in 1 or 2 in 1 (1) $0.75/1 Krucher chips (3) $0.75/1 any Smart Water (1) $0.50/1 Frank's hot sauce Total: $0.80. Total should have been higher, but: The Pert was clearance; however, they didn't ring up right, had to have that fixed. They gave me one free as part of that scan right guarantee thing, and refunded the full price I paid despite the fact I had used a q that doubled; that made my total oop lower.

I've been on a short vacation out of state all last week, so I took a late trip last night to a couple stores. I found out my fave store is now pulling DND5's and that the register now rejects the 4th same q. ( didn't even think about it because 2 Q's were for the pancake mix and the other 2 were for syrup. But they were the same, sooo...) Sad. Oh, well, got some great deals anyway! Between the 2 stores I came away with: 5 cases Crush soda - $1/2 peelie ( thought I'd be able to use 2, but it wouldn't scan and the manager couldn't even override it) = 2.08 ea 6 bags Grande chips -$1/1 FREE 3 Folgers Black Silk -evic price 2.99 -$1/1 .99 2 hungry Jack mix -evic $1.49 -$1/1 FREE 3 hungry Jack syrup -evic 1.99 -$1/1 FREE 4doz eggs Evic .77/1 2 sesmark crackers -$1/1 FREE 2 Chavrie goat cheese -$1/1 $1.99/1 4 nestle cookie dough -$1/2 IP 1.49/1 2 laughing cow cheese wheels -$1/1 .99/1 2 Smart Balance Milk -$1.50/1 .99/1 Smuckers sugar free -1/1 IP Free OOP $30ish total Seems like alot to me, but I did get stuff that we needed and did splurged for the cheeses and cookie dough. My store was restocking as I was shopping so I'm hoping for a good trip tonight.

I wish I had all of the HT's that Raleigh has available!! I cannot wait for our new HT to open in Greenville b/c that will bring us to 3 (as long as they operate like the one at Bells Fork....).

Hi Moggy Just wanted to let you know I found the PB at the Wake Forest location. I normally go to the same one you do, Cameron Village, but I live in Zebulon so I hit up Wake Forest this past weekend and they had the planter's PB, all the way on the bottom shelf. I'm sure we have past paths, I've been to Cameron Village every weekday on Triples and SD!

I made another trip( thought maybe my HT restocked, wishful thinking). I only got the Blue Bunny Ice cream that was part of my E vic special( the sweet freedom kind and I used coupons for it) 1 v-8 fusion fruit( no coupon) 4 bags of the Chiquita bags.. I paid $5.46.. I don't even know if I am going to bother going in tomorrow for the chicken sausages, Lance crackers and the bounty. They just don't seem to have them anywhere.

I just did this last night because my coupons were set to expire that day: Renuzit Air Freshner at CVS Regular price $1.77 each CVS has them on sale for $1 each (5 for $5) with CVS card. I had two "buy 2 get 1 free" coupons. I picked up 6 Renuzit, and they rang up $6. After the coupons, I was credited $1.77 each for the two free ones!! My final bill was $2.66 including tax! That's 44 cents each! |
