I agree, I don't like to go to the Charles Blvd HT store either...The Belks Fork location is still about 20+ miles for us as we live off Hwy 33 going towards New Bern and we don't have the nicer grocery stores near us (Washington, NC) so we don't mind the drive...have you ever shopped at Lowes? I heard it was a coupon friendly store...thanks for your replys and have fun this week at HT...looking forward to the race...

I live in Washington and I drive to Greenville to do 99% of my grocery shopping. I shop at Lowe's every now and then. In my opinion they are the easiest to shop at with coupons. I try to go there every other week. If I miss something on sale at HT I can usually catch it on sale at Lowe's. I love HT and Lowe's (love HT just a little bit more......but meat prices are better at Lowes).

I never knew there was a Lowes grocery store until I started taking the Greenville paper...I had seen good things written on this blog about them so thought I would ask for another opinon. Are they in the mall on the right on Greenville Blvd? I think I know where they are but not sure...We will check out Lowes very soon...thanks for the info.

I have coupons for $1/1grande chips and I also have if you buy grande chips get 1.50 off beef coupons.Can I use both together?

I have used coupons together like this, but, they will beep and require a manager override - so it will be up to your store if they will let you or not. You could always stop by CS on the way in and ask- that will help you avoid any hassle while checking out.

Grrrrrr. I went to HT on the last day of doubles and had a mean cashier, I was on my lunch break so was rushing and didn't have my coupon policy with me at the time. I was buying 3 resolve in wash stain remover and then 3 resolve spray stain remover, she told me I could not use more then 3 Q's from the same manufacturer...is that correct? She also would not let me use 2 Q's on a BOGO offer on the Lysol toilet cleaner. That was just changed in the new update correct? to allow 1 Q on each item purchased right? Sorry, just wanted to make sure before I go to CS next week.

Actually I think that is what the policy says - 3 coupons from the same manufacturer. You can go to their website and check though.

i have a silly question i'm new to HT and i actually "saved" the coupons to my card for the first time today - i went in and it deducted automatically

are those only good for one time? meaning i bought and item & it took off ZVR 1.00
would it work again if i go back tuesday ?

Can someone help me please, before I mess up my first HT shopping trip?! The doubling policy states that it will double coupons up to $0.99. So if I double a coupon that is $0.75 to $1.50, does that mean that a $2.00 item would be $0.50? If that is the case, would a $1.00 coupon double to $1.98? Or will that not double because it's over $0.99? I've been trying to figure this out by reading some other posts but for some reason I'm not getting it. Also, what are super doubles and how does that differ from the regular coupon policy? I would really appreciate any help. We get paid next monday and I am trying to prep my trip before we go there so that I'm ready. Its like a 30 min drive so I have no room for mistakes!

The $1.00 coupon would not double at all. Also, keep in mind they limit you to 3 coupons per item type & 20 doubling coupons per day. So you can use 30 coupons, but only 20 will double. And you can use 3 Charmin TP coupons + 3 yopliat cups coupons + 3 campbells chunky coupons, etc.

Oh and super doubles are when they double any coupon up to $1.98 - so in that case a $1.00 coupon would double...and a $1.50 coupon would double, but a $2.00 coupon would not double.

I think you meant to say '3 coupons per like item' because they only allow one coupon per item. Just don't want any newbies to get the wrong idea.

I know that the E-VIC coupons don't double. But; if I do an E-VIC coupon AND bring in a MQ, will the MQ still double?

Example:
Save $.50 on any (5) Campbell's Spaghettio's (E-VIC Clipped to Card)
Save $.50 on any (5) Campbell's Spaghettio's (MQ brought to store)

(5) @ $.88/ea = $4.40
Minus $.50 (E-VIC) = $3.90
Minus $1.00 (doubled MQ) = $2.90

Total per can = $.58

Is there a limit on how many like coupons you can use on a product? Example: I had 12 coupons, I know the first 3 will double but will they still except the rest at face value. I was told at my local HT that I can only use 3 of the same coupon. I might be wrong but I don't see that stated in their coupon policy. Am I in the wrong?

The coupon typically states how many like/identical coupons you can use. I went to one HT and the customer service lady said she wouldn't take more than one coupon per item per their coupon policy. I told her their coupon policy states more than one per purchase and each item scanned is a purchase. It doesn't state per specified item on coupon and she was wrong, but she said she wasn't accepting it and walked away from me. I called the next day and spoke with the assistant manager and he told me I was correct and offered to refund me the $2.00 I would have saved.
