I had an idea that might help... Call your local HT to see if they will do this.

If you place an order today on the Express Lane, while Super Doubles is still in effect, will they double your coupons when you pick your order up tomorrow?

Maybe a few stores will do this for you, especially considering the icy conditions. HTH

I didn't go out yesterday, even though I realized in the evening I probably could have made it using my husband's car as he has new tires. You can all probably appreciate this - how a fru-gal de-ices the driveway. My driveway is a sheet of ice. Even though I am not planning to go out today I thought I should de-ice it. We don't have any of the de-icer stuff you buy at the store, but I do have several cans of table salt from when they were free with super doubles one time, sea-salt nonetheless. So I used a whole can of that on there. Not sure if that will do the trick so I remembered my brother-in-law gave us this ice cream making ball and bag of rock salt one time. I poured the whole bag (small bag) of rock salt on there. Hope it works. Stay safe everyone. Remember, there's always next time for super doubles.

We have ice and the roads in my neighborhood are nor driveable. So... my husband and I (and the dog) walked over to HT (it's a leisurely 20 min walk). I didn't do any super doubles shopping because there just wasn't really anything that I needed that I had not already gotten on my previous two trips. I picked up a few things to make white chicken chili and lasagne. The store was pretty empty and the shelves were pretty full. They were restocking and it would have been the perfect time to hit HT for SD!

School is closed in Harnett County again tomorrow and I've been having Harris Teeter withdrawls, but there is nothing that could make me drive on that ice that is outside.

LOL, yes, thats exactly what she is saying Thumper is our little firecracker (he is just over a year old) and Daisy is about 6 years old. She keeps him in line and lets him know who is boss!

We ended up with 7 inches of snow! Then a layer of sleet and freezing rain. Made for some interesting drives in for work yesterday and today.

Nice Brandy! I wish we had snow, my little nephew is so bummed out.

We saw about 10 snow flakes, and then it turned to ice. Shut down everything yesterday, but this morning John went out and checked the road in front of the house and it had melted. I don't know how since the sun never came out and the temp never got above freezeing - but I'm glad it melted! Now if i can just get my car door open - the entire car is covered in a sheet of ice, and unfortunatley it is sitting in the shade.
